Illusion is a young NightWing Mindreader who hatched a few years after the brightest night, under the light of the largest moon on the mainland. Considered a mere trophy by her parents to flaunt that they had figured out how to get dragonets with powers again, Illusion was often overlooked by the tribe for her strange patterning- a result of being a chimera. She is part of the Hidden Talons run by Labyrinth
Often overshadowed by her more powerful brother, Fatefinder, Illusion pushed herself to become the co-leader of the Hidden Talons, a group run by Labyrinth and Prince Turtle in an attempt to find out the true cause of death of Queen Thorn, and who the strange new SandWing King alongside Queen Sunny.
Appearance
Illusion is a small, lean NightWing due to her years on the run and going off of little food, noted to have a dark purple right eye and a dark green left eye and iridescent scales when under moonlight. Described by her brother as 'a mix of two typical NightWings,' Illusion is a chimera, and has splashes of a lighter grey tone across her body and her face. She is often described with a sharper face than most NightWings.
As stated by Ex-Princess Blaze, Illusion can be pretty under the right circumstances, though time and time again Illusion has hinted that she could care less about what she looks like. She has a teardrop scale behind each eye, which she calls her little 'mind seeking diamonds,' due to their shininess and the power they warn others about.

Mindreading
NightWing Mindreading was given to Illusion for hatching under the light of one full moon, though Illusion's mindreading seems to be slightly more powerful due to training alongside a thrice moonborn.
She is often indiscriminatory about the dragons she reads the minds of, often popping into anyone's head whenever she can in case they aren't telling her the full truth. The only dragon she doesn't invade the privacy of is her brother- she knows that if he finds out she read his mind, he'll do the same to her, and she can't block him out like he can do to her. That mutual respect keeps them both at ease of the other learning their secrets.
The Gift Of Diplomacy
The Gift Of Diplomacy was a group of three bracelets enchanted by Prince Penguin in order to allow dragons of other tribes to visit the IceWing Kingdom. For much of Pyrrhian History they were lost, with their locations being completely unknown.
One of the bracelets was first found by Berry, an IceWing-RainWing hybrid, off the coast of the Sand Kingdom between the Ice and Night Kingdoms respectively. Having no use for it, he simply kept the item in his posession until he joined the Hidden Talons. It was there that he gave the Gift Of Diplomacy to Illusion in order to hunt down a possible informant to the Pyramids gang in the Scorpion Den.

Illusion has learned to use her words to ensure her brother stays safe, though lacks confidence in herself due to her weaker abilities and her strange scales, and has a hard time understanding the emotions of others.
Illusion outwardly seems like a very charismatic and confident dragoness. She likes to sass her brother to tease him, and tends to be quick to jump into fights whenever her friends or family are in danger- even if the danger isn't all that serious, or it simply looks like danger.
Over time, though, the worst of Illusion can be seen. She is a very clingy dragoness toward her brother, believing he is the only dragon she can trust and the only one who doesn't think she's strange, and often feels overshadowed by him. She oftentimes doesn't think before she acts, which puts her in dangerous situations, such as when they first met Labyrinth and Illusion tried to kill the hybrid dragoness. However, she is very forgiving and caring toward the dragons who prove to her that it's still worthwhile to be good, even when she wants to run away from it all.

- Illusion was originally meant to be a twin NightWing, due to her chimerism, but absobed her twin early on in the egg.
- Illusion is scared of animus dragons, as when she meets Igneous she hides between Turtle and her brother.

- Her jealousy of her brother fights with her sibling bond with him, which causes her to have conflicting thoughts.

Fatefinder, base by Biohazardia
Fatefinder is Illusion's older brother, and the first triple moonborn NightWing since Darkstalker. Flaunted as a trophy by his parents, who had decided to hatch their eggs on Pyrrhia instead of the Nightwing island to test a theory, Fatefinder is Illusion's closest friend outside of Labyrinth. They have a close relationship, often speaking telepathically in order to keep their secrets just that- secret.
Labyrinth, by Trunswicked
Labyrinth is Illusion's first big friend outside of Fatefinder. She is the co-leader of the Hidden Talons under the guise of a gang in the Scorpion Den. Despite their close relationship, Illusion is always wary of Labyrinth, knowing the HiveWing hybrid is volatile in nature and unpredictable in loyalties. Regardless, the two are close and confide in the other as co-leaders.
Berry, by Kenyajoy
Berry is the scribe for the Hidden Talons, taking notes of their new information and making sure the true history of the SandWings is kept intact, in the event that the new SandWing King manipulates Queen Sunny enough that they somehow change history to fit their narrative. However, Illusion is very distrustful of Berry, seeing him as a weak-willed dragon who is too easily convinced to hold their information. He supplied her with the Gift Of Deplomacy, but it was under Labyrinth's orders.
