Profile

Originally a warrior from the vast rolling plains of Mulgore and the older brother to Agwé Mulbloof by 2 years, Kuam Mulbloof had a passion for archaeology and learning about Azeroth's history.

Born and raised in Bloodhoof Village, Kuam and Agwé were extremely close and always made weekend plans to go camping out in the wilderness together. Every summer in Mulgore was spent staying in Camp Narache and then traveling into the rest of the Red Cloud Mesa. For Agwé, it was always an opportunity to get closer to nature and to get more in touch with his druid powers. For Kuam, it was an opportunity to learn more about the world they lived on. Of course, the two also sparred together to enhance their combative abilities.

As they grew up, their camp outs became less frequent as their druid and warrior powers were honed. On their last outing together before they went their separate ways, they traveled to Stonetalon Mountains to meet with High Chieftain Cliffwalker in Cliffwalker Post to discuss Agwé continuing his training in the Thal'darah Grove with other druid trainees. Kuam assured the Chieftain that his younger brother would be a worthy ally and that he was capable of achieving great things. The two stayed in the village for the night. The next morning, Agwé saw Kuam off, as Kuam had to catch a zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Tirisfal Glades, as he heard of some newly discovered dig sites in the surrounding zones. Before he left, the two shared one last hug and promised to write to each other frequently. Kuam took off to Orgrimmar while Agwé walked back into the village to start his new druid training, neither knowing this would be the last time they'd see each other for years.

Upon arriving at The Bulwark, Kuam was warned of the dangers that was the Western Plaguelands, namely the infected creatures that had started appearing due to Kel'Thuzad's presence, and was told he should find his way to the town of Hearthglen in the northern area. Assuring the Forsaken he'd be fine and that he can handle himself, Kuam ventured into the Plaguelands to survey the land.

On his way to Hearthglen, he set up survey markers, and fought and killed the infected that roamed the woods, When he got there, he was allowed to stay in any vacant home for as long as he wanted. While he was walking to the armory to get his armor repaired, he noticed a shipment of grain arrive in town.

With Hearthglen not having an inn, and therefore no mailbox, Kuam had to make the journey to Andorhal to send out any mail to his brother. In one letter, he wrote about how the townsfolk's paranoia of the Scourge has been increasing day by day, and that his research on the fossils he's been uncovering has been going smoothly. At the end of his letter he assured his brother that he'll be fine if any Scourge attack does happen, and hopes Agwé will write back soon.

As he made it back to Hearthglen, he found that the whole town was under attack by the Scourge. Quickly rushing into the fray, he assisted the townsfolk, Prince Arthas, and Uther in driving the Scourge out of town.

Some time later, Kuam traveled back to Orgrimmar, having finished his excavations near Hearthglen, where the Scourge invaded. Succeeding in pushing the infected out of Orgrimmar, Kuam joined the Horde Expedition, particularly the Warsong Offensive, and went to the Borean Tundra. While in Northrend, Kuam was killed and corrupted by the Lich King's forces. His corpse was then brought to Ebon Hold by the Scourge, where a Scourge necromancer raised his body, deeming him worthy enough to serve the Lich King.

The tauren warrior known as Kuam Mulbloof was no more. What remained was a a bloodthirsty death knight, eternally suffering. Any remnant of Kuam's past was pushed aside in favor of the Lich King's will.

Under the control of the Lich King, Kuam was given several tasks to prove his loyalty. After slaughtering Scarlet Crusaders, peasants, and stealing a horse from the nearby stables, Kuam was sent into New Avalon to execute an Argent Dawn prisoner. When he stepped into the prison house, he was not ready to see an old flame from his past; Malar Bravehorn. Remembering something from his past for the first time since his resurrection, Kuam hesitated in executing his old lover. Locking eyes with him one last time, Kuam drove his sword into Malar's stomach, killing him. Before he left the burning building, he cut off Malar's left horn as a memento.

Later, after the Lich King ordered the destruction of the Argent Dawn at Light's Hope Chapel, and the Lich King's betrayal that was essentially a suicide mission for Kuam and his fellow death knights, Kuam joined the Knights of the Ebon Blade in taking back Acherus from the Scourge. Having his free will restored, Kuam is sent to Orgrimmar's front gate with a letter in his hands that is to be delivered to Garrosh Hellscream. Riding through Orgrimmar, enduring the threats and rotten food thrown his way, Kuam made his way to the Warchief's seat, and successfully rejoined the Horde.
