Powers: He is known as the Toymaker. He is very skilled with surgery and has an acute understanding of many more common Inferiors’ anatomy, such as humans. The majority of inferiors he captures he uses for experiments, however the select few whose company he truly enjoys he keeps as pets, keeping modifications to them minimal and only what’s needed. He still desires to create his magnum opus; turning an Inferior into something indistinguishable from a natural Enlightened. In the meantime, however, he ‘repairs’ other Enlightened’s Inferiors to make a living.
Personality: Those who know Azalel well know he can be brash and impulsive, even described as hotheaded. Those who don’t see him as a reclusive and abrasive genius, who takes his work seriously. He is able to put up a somewhat welcoming and professional front, but he has difficulty forming relationships with people.
View on Inferiors: Azalel does indeed view smaller sentient beings as inferior, like many Enlightened so, but he believes they have potential. His goal is to find a way to unlock that potential. Usually he sees them only as test subjects, though.
