Shiru

Perhaps the most well-adjusted of the guild before their year on the surface, Shiru came to Catalena as a young adult, after years of getting to experience only the tiniest fragments of the crown jewel of the catacombs. Born in a deep underground desert, where an enchanted pool fed the sands and gave rise to a tiny civilization, she grew up longing for a world she'd known only through the tiny treats brought back from the yearly harvest festival. Trained in blades and dance since childhood, she grew agile, and when the day arrived that she came of age, she slipped her way through the tunnels and past their beasts to find the home she'd imagined for so long.

For several years she spent her days simply slipping from home to home and couch to couch, dancing for the entertainment of her hosts and the cats roaming the streets and taverns; it was only after several years of this that she at last grew tired of her trade, and took to a role at the first guild she came across. So it was that she joined the absolute mess of a crew that is Starsong - Though she doesn't mind it all that much, so long as she has a bed in which to sleep and food which she can eat.
