Ren is a generally warmhearted guy but will murder to win at something. On top of that he's highly cocky and is used to getting what he wants. He plays up a lot of his personality, specifically when he's working, but he can also appreciate a slower pace in life.
Ren's a massive hopeless romantic and hopes to settle down one day. Right now, he's in a relationship with Conner, his long standing partner.
