Backstory (short version)

Age:

0: Bornmade on Homeworld, ready to serve Yellow Diamond, heck yeah! ...Sent to Earth immediately so she could help with her healing powers during fights with rebels.

0-300: Serving in the war, though honestly is slowly considering it bigger and bigger nonsense. Why must gems fight? Why can't they just move to some other planet? Why destroy the ecosystem of this one, and why drag those weird, fleshy, soft and delicate humans into this? Look at them. They can barely survive a century. Actually, how can they even manage to survive one half of it? They're ridiculous!

300-500: Accidentally starts spending more time sitting in fields and literally staring as the grass grows than helping their colony. Other gems slowly start looking at her weird, and she looks weird at them back. Might've burned a few wolves and a forest down and gutted open some birds just to see how the world works, but slowly learns that after you alter something's physical form, it can't be put back together (certainly not by lava).

500-1000: Screw Homeworld AND their wars, Lava Fountain Agate is going on an adventure! Just bails one day, and never comes back. No-one comes looking, because, honestly, their production line up there could just spit out another gem like her in a matter of second probably. Plus the war was practically done and they were LOSING too, so yeah. Screw that. It's Earth time! ...and the very first thing that happens is her accidentally getting 'killed' by humans who had no idea what she was and were very scared. One of them noticed the gem that fell out and took it with them. Good. Liz hasn't been poofed before, plus she gets hidden in a box and can't get out. Help.

1000-5500: Gem falls out of hiding when some next generation of family inherited it. I wonder what kid got scolded for playing with important things. Liz regenerates! Runs to the wild asap! And... starts stalking literally everything she can find. Stays in hiding both from humans and gems for a longer time before she gets enough knowledge on humans to know how to blend in with them. Of course to blend in she had to change her appearance - the almost half a millenium stay in gem form certainly helped her really change her bodily manifestation, and she found getting poofed useful, so she impales herself on some sticks quite a few times to get what she wanted from her form. And her REAL adventure with humans began! She started learning their languages, their cultures, their nature, and not only theirs - the whole of the planet. It was funny because she found out that actually, humans really had little idea about their own planet as well, and if she tried she could come off as a god like being to them considering what knowledge she's brought there from Homeworld. She decided against it though, enjoying being an observator more. Considering the lifespan of a human being, every century or so Liz arranged a fake death for herself, poofed herself, and then came out with a different form, and moved countries, and learned even more and more, and she LOVED IT. She's done it all - she was a poor peasant, an orphaned child adopted by a royal family, a brave knight, all KINDS of scientists and artists, and even tried being a prostitute once, except human intercourse is absolutely disgusting, so she bailed on that one real fast. Her most recent life? An adopted child of some American family, currently studying some biology stuff or what, goes on fieldtrips on her own a lot, and.. has started meeting gems on them too. ...Well, it can't be too bad, warming up to those suckers again. She hopes.
