BACK STORY: Her lusus died when she was 8, which was a decent lifespan for it. However, she did not have anyone providing for her anymore, so she set out to get a job. She really wanted to be an author, but no one would publish a female bronzeblood's horror mystery novels. What she did get was a lot of people complimenting her and catcalling her. She realized she could use this to her advantage, and get paid for her body. She took up sex work instead, and was able to make enough money to keep living. She broke off contact with all her old friends. One client wanted her to do something that she refused to do, and he broke her horn clean off. She took a break after this, having accumulated enough money to take care of the injury and take time off working without starving. Once the money ran low again, she went back to working, still looking pretty but now with a broken horn. People that were pickier about appearance would make her charge less due to the horn, but most people didn't care because the rest of her was still perfect.
ONGOING STORY: She still does sex work, and she still writes. No one will publish her and she wonders if it's just because she sucks at writing. (She doesn't.) She also embroiders and sells those for some extra money. She doesn't think sex work is degrading or bad and, while not super duper happy with it, is fine doing it. As long as no one else tries to hurt her. One of her old friends has come into contact with her again, and now they're finally dating.
