Raven has gotten used to being an outcast after a lifetime of being alone. Completely blind and reliant on wireframes created by their chest implant to navigate the world.

Raven is an infamous Verran criminal, known across multiple galaxies for being remarkably good at getting their hands on anything they could ever possibly want to pilfer. Be it for profit or for a cause.

They've been alone for almost their entire life, rejected from their family as a baby for being unable to see. An extremely rare mutation for Verrans- a species known for both their remarkable sight and their somewhat brutal, survivalist culture. Both adding up together to see Raven as a liability not worth risking the pack over.

Verrans mature quickly, Raven already leaving the orphanage as an adult at 12. Stealing enough money to procure a decent ship, they took off to start their lifetime of robbery.

Raven has never had anyone who they truly connected to, their sole companions existing in temporary romantic flings of the Bonnie-and-Clyde variety. Ultimately ditching them when they get bored of the relationship, often with devastating emotional consequences.

One of their biggest heists is interrupted by their spaceship being crashed into the forsaken planet of Earth. Humans long since died out, replaced by their evolutionary descendants known as Dethkin. Hyper violent, hostile to outside species, and known for a penchant to kill others on sight.

Or at least this is the general belief of the aliens that contact them before them.

However, Raven finds themself rescued by a friendly, if alien obsessed, Dethkin named Riot.

That only complicating at the undercovering of a stowaway Furriar child on board their ship named Charlie.
