Aiden is the youngest son of Marrius Castillo, the Head of the Castillo Crime Family. He was birth was the cause of the death of his mother and his father was very over-protective of him up until he was about 11 or 12 when he started to look more like his mother. He was then sent to live with his cousin, Marcus, due to his father being incapable of being around his youngest son without his heart breaking.

Aiden then lived with Marcus for many years. During this time his siblings started to attack him for "murdering" their mother. Many of them treat him poorly, though none more than the eldest, Robbert. Aiden moved out of Marcus's home and into a small apartment to prevent Marcus and Robbert fighting. Aiden could not take being the reason that Marcus could get hurt.

When he was 20, he met Ryker on a day trip to the boxing gym that both Marcus and Ryker train at. Ryker knew nothing about Aiden's family and was appauled by the bruises on the younger Knitten. The two started dating slowly and eventually left the city that Aiden and Ryker lived in for Haven Hollow.

Aiden is the youngest child of his parents with his mother dying in child birth. His father refused to even let him go to school, having him be tutored privately because he couldn't bare losing the last shread of his wife. Eventually, however, his father couldn't bare to have him around either and sent him to live with his brother's eldest son, Marcus. Marrius knew that his youngest son could not be sent to live with any of his older siblings because they all blamed the youngest for the death of their beloved mother. Marcus was the only safe choice.

When Aiden was about 15, his siblings started taking turns hurting him. Many of them used psychological and emotional abuse. Robbert, however...

Robbert beat the ever loving shit out of him. Multiple times. Aiden has been in and out of the hospital since before he was 15 due to medical issues due to how he was born. However, his trips to the hospital increased exponentially when he was 15.

When he was 17, Marcus tried to stop a particularly violent attack and ended up pretty badly hurt himself. Aiden moved into a small, baren apartment after that because he couldn't take the idea of the one person who was taking care of him beeing hurt. This only opened him up to more attacks, but it meant that Marcus woould not be hurt again.

When Aiden was 20, he was out with Marcus having just gotten out of the hospital again. Marcus took him to the gym he was training at to get back into shape for boxing after taking six months off due to an injury. There he met Ryker. Ryker didn't know anything about the Castillo family and was genuinely angry at the codition that Aiden was in. Aiden was currious how someone could go even a day in the city they lived in without knowing about the crime family he hailed from. Aiden gave Ryker his number and later Ryker called. The two started dating shortly after that.

After another beating, Marcus went to Ryker with a load of money and a battered and doped up Aiden and told the younger boxer to run away with his cousin. If he didn't, it was quite possible that Robbert would escalate to the point of killing the youngest Castillo.That is just what he did. Ryker took his boyfriend and fled the city and the country.

Aiden gets money from Marcus and his brother Jackson monthly. He is too ill to work and needs help with the medications that he needs for his mirad of illnesses.
