"Bessie...hello again, ma'am."
Princess Holly the Third, Holly for short, is the heir to her parents' throne. She resides with them in the Maple Oak Empire, known for its everlasting display of mainly oak trees. Although Holly is destined to be the Queen, she is not at all happy about it. She would rather prefer to go out and see the world than be "stuck babysitting a bunch of people". Her parents have a lot of patience with her and hope that one day her attitude about the whole thing changes, but it's highly unlikely. Holly likes to spend time under her favourite oak tree, a northern red oak that sits right outside her bedroom window. It's her favourite reading spot, and she also likes to write in her journal underneath this tree, which she has named Bessie. Her least favourite season is winter, because this is when Bessie sheds her leaves in the cold weather and leaves nothing but empty air. Holly depends a lot on this tree to be the only thing to keep her happy, and it's absence in the winter is highly likely of why she has seasonal depression.
