A boy that spends his time in the forests. He rarely talks to people and uses his time in there to protect weary travelers. As long as they pay him a toll he will do whatever he can to keep them safe. He accepts any form of payment, from the rich he tends to take coin, but from the poor he takes anything. At one point a little girl gave him a stuffed animal as the payment and he still keeps it with him.
During the daytime though, he is incredibly elusive. People have even started to rumor that he doesn't actually exist. People always think of him as some kind of ghost or spirit that protects those in need. Sometimes he'll wear a mask to keep up with the rumors about being some kind of entity rather than an actual person.
At some points he's even had to deal with bandits and assassins trying to kill him because he makes it incredibly difficult to loot merchants and travelers.
Viridi's back has a giant hole that leads into an endless void almost like a cave itself. The outer edges are surrounded in malachite which are poisonous to the touch. However, if someone were to reach into the hole far enough they'd be able to find his heart. No one has ever gotten close enough to him though to touch it. And he intends to keep it that way.
