Very clever and always smiling, Calyspo's true intentions are often difficult to get a read on. She is also quite resourceful, having a good deal of information on the criminal underworld as well a set of ethically questionable skills.
One day after she failed the bar exam to become a prosecution attorney, Calypso decided to go and drown her sorrow's away at a bar. After she got extremely drunk, Rose Summers showed up and picked a pitifully short fight with different customer. In jest, Calypso suggested to Rose that she should participate in the Dragon's Cage Maxima, but was later completely stunned to discover Rose had did just that. Infinitely intrigued by the crimson-haired titan, Calypso decided to rendezvous with Rose in Europe and travel along with her.
