Hello my name is Torià!! I am 12yrs old and I live with my grandparents next to the beach side near the Pacific Islands near Hawaii. I've lived with my grandparents ever since I was 8yrs old and they've taken care of me ever since!!
I'm an happy, extrovert, bubbly girl, I always try to have a smile on my face. I don't have a lot of friends at my school, for some reason they don't really like me... But my grandparents tell me that it's because I'm special and one of a kind, and they just don't understand how perfect I am!!
My mother died when I was 7yrs old, she was a young woman and I loved her dearly, my dad especially loved her a lot!! They would always kiss and go out to places and stuff, they would take me to all sorts of places!! They were madly in love.
That was then, she died. My dad would always drink some sort of liquid that came in a bottle, when he drank it he would get really mean and often yell at me. I didn't like it when he drank it.. I would often hide under my bed or go outside and only come back after dark when he fell asleep. I really hated these times, everyday felt even harder than the last. Finally, he told me he couldn't take it anymore and gave me to his parents, I loved my grandparents so I was so happy to stay with them!! My grandparents yelled at him for a really long time, before he left. I remember my dad crying, my grandma did aswell.. My dad hasn't been back ever since, but I'm sure he will come home soon!! And we can be a happy family again. I know it.
I love baking, and cooking. My grandma tells me that my mother used to love baking when she was a little girl like me, even when she got older. My mom was a wonderful cook, she would always make the most delicious food. I always wanted to cook like her one day!!
My grandma teaches me new recipes every week, and tells me more about how my mom was like. I love listening to stories about her, I love looking at pictures of my mom, and learning more about her!! My mother said that one day if I'm old enough that I can take over my mom's old bakery, doesn't that sound amazing? Ooooh I'm so excited..
