The first impression of Leela people consistently get is that she's up-beat and positive. She smiles freely, and is happy to jump in and help however is needed. Even in poor situations, Leela is quick to find a silver lining.
Easygoing
Overall, Leela is incredibly amiable. She rarely expresses strong opinions, and tends to let most everything roll off her shoulders. As such, arguments and other moments of emotional upset are rare occurences.

Leela does not often discuss her home life, or other private affairs. She speaks of work and hobbies, but rarely anything more personal than that. She does not share her life with others--regardless of whether it's happy or sad.

For those who know her well, this is the trait which stands out most. Leela is incredibly caring about everyone--friend and stranger alike. She goes out of her way to be kind and understanding to anyone she meets.

Volleyball
Leela plays volleyball almost every day the weather is good. It is by far her favorite beach activity, so much so that she competes with a local team in the annual tournament.
Marine Biology
With the amount of time she spends by the ocean, Leela has gained an incresing amount of knowledge about the animals and plants in her area. She's fascinated by the variety of sea creatures, and spends quite a bit of time studying them.
Fashion
While she doesn't change her own style much, Leela adores helping her friends pick out clothes. She keeps up with all of the latest trends by a combination of observing those who come to the beach and looking through the magazines at the gift shop next door to her work.
Romance Novels
Romance novels are her secret guilty pleasure. She is not generally one for reading, however a friend gifted her one after a long conversation about their respective love lives and she's been hooked ever since. Typically she only reads these in the safety of her home.

Mixology
Even before getting her bartending certification, Leela had a knack for finding new and interesting mixes for drinks. After discovering this, the owner of her cafe paid for her to take several courses so that she could take over the bar.
Hospitality
Leela is an excellent hostess, and is typically able to forsee a guest's needs and attend to them before a request is made. After years of practice, she's a master of making people feel welcome and cared for.
Bookkeeping
Finance tracking was a natural progression in Leela's duties at her cafe. The more skill she showed for balancing the books the more responsibility the owner gave her, until she was seeing to all of it.

Though outside her typical day-to-day activities, Leela's saliva is a mild aphrodisiac like all of her kind. This, combined with her personable demeanor and ability to care for others, makes her incredibly good at winning a person's favor when she really wants to.
About
Leela is a staple attraction at her local beach. Known for her warm smile and caring disposition, she works in a beachside cafe year round. Many of the regular customers visit exclusively to see her, and the owner considers her a business partner. During the summer months, she spends nearly all of her free time playing volleyball. In spite of the constant effort of her friends to recruit her to various teams, Leela has never participated in the annual tournament on the beach, instead opting to work during the event and watch from the sidelines.
Incredibly private about her personal life, Leela rarely speaks of it outside of her hobbies and work. She shares a large beachside condo with her roommate and sometimes lover Sebastian. Despite typically having the place to herself due to Bast's travel schedule, Leela rarely invites others to her home, preferring instead to go out and visit others or invite them to her cafe during quiet hours.
