Personality

It's not that Smokefeather is shy, or distant, it's just that he is a private cat. His past has led to become reserved, and to not let many cats get close to him. At times, he can almost be skeptical to the point of hostility towards strangers he has yet to familiarize with. Though, once a cat has proven to be trustworthy, he can be incredibly protective and devoted to them, Smokefeather has hard walls that surround him, but a soft heart once breached. Smokefether is still getting used to Clan life, as he is slowly becoming more trusting of his Clan-mates. Yet, he is still overwhelmed by the sheer amount of cats that live in StormClan, because for most of his life, he really lived with his family, and then only with his sister. Most of the time, he is seen sitting near the edge of the camp, or next to Pepper, observing his Clan-mates rather than talking to them.

History

Smokey was born alongside Pepper, and his two others siblings to a pair of wandering loners. For the first few moons of his life, things were rather easy. His parents took good care of them, and loved them all equally. Smokey always thought that his family would always be there, and they would protect each other. Though, this did not seem to be, as Pepper got severely injured by falling from a tree branch. His family tried to help her recover, but eventually they gave up. Smokey was devastated, but decided to stay with his sister.

It was incredibly difficult for the first few moons. The two of them were barely old enough to start learning how to survive from their parents. Smokey was clumsy while hunting, and often came back empty pawed. Pepper never seemed to mind though, always cheering him up, and saying kind things like "don't worry about it, you can catch one tomorrow!" and "things happen, we can do this together!" Smokepaw does not often admit it, but Pepper's positivity and alacrity really helped him through the toughest times. A few quarter moons has passed, and Pepper was finally well enough to walk with assistance, the pair decided to move on from their old home, to find a new one, and hopefully, a new family.

Once the two of them were six moons, old enough to become apprentices, they were given the names Smokepaw and Pepperpaw. For a short while, the two of them trained together to become warriors. Though, being in the medicine cat's den eventually grew on Pepperpaw, and she decided to train as one. Smokepaw missed her comforting presence in the Apprentices' den and out while they trained, but he respected her decision. When he is not busy with training, he is often seen either lingering outside of the medicine den, or inside of it, talking to Pepperpaw about how things were going, such as how well they were training, and if anything major happened during the day, such as a good catch, or if any cat got injured. He has yet to to really get comfortable with other cats, but with Pepper's encouragement, he is slowly getting more comfortable and trusting of his Clan-mates.

As a new warrior, he is coming out of his shell more and more every day. He is slowly becoming friends with cats that aren't his sister, an it has begun to boost his confidence.

Appearance

Smokefeather is a tall, chunky tom cat with long, thick fur that often gets stuck in his mouth when he tries to groom. his base pelt is silver, with black points that get darker near the end. on his legs and tail, he has black stripes that fade into his fur. although, there are a few white marks on his face, paws, chest, and tail that stand out. Smokey has deep, forest green eyes, and tall, thin ears that have long tufts of fur on them. all of his whiskers are black, except for one that grows on the right side of his muzzle.

Short Version: a large, long furred, black and silver pointed tabby tom with white paws, tail tip, and blot on his chest. he has green eyes.

• As of right now, Smokefeather has little belief in StarClan. He always assumed there was something after life, but he doesn't think about it often..
