Amyr is a hot-headed rebellious cat. He is prince of his kingdom, but finds himself discontented at having things handed to him on a silver platter. At night, he sneaks away from the palace and meddles with the petty criminals on the streets. He slowly learns from them how to thieve, and soon finds pride in his ability to get away with crimes. Eventually, he gathers and leads a group of criminals called the Yaquts.
