Profile
The Shapeshifting Soul
"Care for for a cup of tea?"
Nolan is known to be a rather narcissistic person. He is confident in himself and everything he does. He doesn’t care about what others think of him, nor does he usually care about their well-being. He is reserved and secretive; he doesn’t let anyone know about his past life. Or at least, he would prefer them not to know. He is always straight to the point and blunt, but he is disciplined and mannerful.
Nolan is also extremely flirtatious towards others. Although he doesn’t have a preferred gender to flirt with, so he may tend to do it with anyone and everyone. He finds their reactions interesting and entertaining.
He considers the world to revolve around him. Every action he makes is meant to bring interest to him and entertain him. He sometimes does bad things, sometimes good. He finds the most entertainment in getting people to do things they wouldn't do on their own. The majority of the time it isn't to encourage them to step our of their comfort zone in a good way. He can become extremely manipulative and persuasive to get the things he desires.
In his freetime he usually likes to sit down and have a nice cup of tea. Preferably green tea, as it is his favorite. Or his favorite hobby, bowling. Nolan is quite skilled at it and enjoys it a lot. He is a also huge fan of big and fancy breakfasts, and loves going to restaurants as well. He is of high manner and doesn't prefer filth. In fact he despises it.

Personality/Disorders
Disciplined
Nolan was always disciplined from a young age, although through abuse, he has become very mannerful and is quite pushy towards others to be the same way.
Confident/Narcissistic
He has high confidence in everything he does and praises nearly all of his actions. He has confidence in his appearence, mannerisms, goals, morals, skills, strength, and everything else. He makes himself known to those around him. He wants others to know he is the best, and when others disagree he tends to get annoyed.
Reserved/Secretive
Despite Nolan's boldness and tendencies to talk about himself, many people around him don't know of his past. Nolan has a long past and has been around for quite some time, but to make sure he can still do things as he pleases, he makes up lies about himself to satisfy other's curiosity while he keeps his true ideals and past a complete secret.
Blunt & Flirtatious
Nolan tells things how they are. If he dislikes something or someone, he will let it be known and most likely in the harshest and realest way possible. He mostly does this cause he doesn't care about other's opinions in the slightest but also because he finds people's reactions to these comments of his very amusing. Because of his bluntness, he is also very flirtatious when he finds someone attractive. Although these comments don't really lead anywhere after flirting.
Lack of Care
Nolan's entire morals revolves around his unwillingness to help others or care for their well-being. In the past he genuinely did try and care, but in the end it was pointless and he stopped trying. So eventually he gave up on the world as a whole, and now does things in his favor and his favor alone. The majority of those actions are to entertain him. He finds great fun in messing with situations to make them more chaotic.
Megalomaniac Personality Disorder
A disorder in which one has delusional ideas of having power. It is a narcissistic disorder where the person truly believes they are the only one that matters and the only one capable of accomplishing things compared to others. Nolan is unaware he has this specific personality disorder, but recognizes some of the things he does as wrong, but he doesn't care and does think the world revolves around him and others should know that as well.
Skills
Shapeshifting
Nolan possesses a special kind of magic which goes by the name of Soul Magic. Each Soul has a special ability derived from the magic and has a dark sclera and a red iris. Nolan is able to shapeshift into many different forms. These forms include different animals and other beings he has seen or can imagine. He is also able to shapeshift into other people and Mobians he has seen, however, it’s very difficult for him to and many details may be a bit off. He usually doesn’t shapeshift into other people.
Nolan almost always covers up his left dark eye to match his other normal eye. He does this with his shapeshifting abilities and no one sees his other eye unless he uses his abilities to shapeshift into other things.
Second Form
He has a second form that he usually transforms into during battle. This form allows him to use the most of his abilities, and he’s a lot more powerful in this form. Many who have heard of or seen this form refer to it as his Demonic Body or Demonic Form, despite it not being specifically demonic. When he uses this form he gets drained and tired a lot quicker than usual, so he rarely likes to use this form. He only uses it to fight stronger foes or when he gets angered and aggressive as he has a difficult time controlling himself when he’s angry.
In the story he will use this form only a couple of times which will be the first encounter with him and Ari, during the fight with Gandalfur, during the fight with Ari near the end, and sometime throughout the Assassin arc. He may use this form other times as it’s not all written out quite yet. He is also able to turn certain parts of his body into this form to gain a slight power boost. He uses a partial version of the form to reduce the amount of energy he uses.
Soul Magic
Basic soul magic consists of basic dark magic abilities, he typically uses these alongside his shapeshifting.
Immortality
He has the ability to live forever without aging. He can still die however, but if he doesn’t come across death other than aging, he will live forever.

Story
Nolan grew up in an extremely abusive household because of his father. His father didn’t abuse him just because he’s already an asshole of a person, but because Nolan was born with a different eye. Which is why Nolan has his eye hidden by his shapeshifting abilities now after mastering them. He also finds the eye overall ugly because of what his father made him believe by the terrible things he did and said. Nolan always tried to please his father in any way he could, but everything failed. His father forced him to learn to kill, and slowly this is where Nolan finds out about his shapeshifting abilities. His father was an assassin and taught Nolan to do his dirty work for him.
Nolan grew up to not care about other’s lives and well-being. He was never taught to care. And even Nolan’s mother watched the abuse happen and did nothing to stop it. She was selfish in this regard because Nolan’s father used to abuse her instead before Nolan came along. Nolan resented his mother for this, but realized later the reasoning for her fear of interfering. Eventually in Nolan’s late teens he got fed up with the abuse his father induced and murdered him. Nolan didn’t regret or feel any guilt for murdering his father. He knew he was the way he was because of what his father did and he hates him for it.
Away from Hell
After he murdered him, he was then on the run. He was able to hide his identity pretty easily because of his shape shifting, so he was never found. Eventually he became curious and wanted to learn more about the people and world. He learned that just like his father, everything is cruel and unfair. However, this didn’t cause Nolan to become depressed, but only made him not care for others even more.
He grew up trying to master his abilities, and find jobs that are interesting to him. Throughout his years he worked at many different kinds of jobs. The majority of the jobs Nolan worked as an assassin for many people and organizations. And through his line of work he eventually heard word of a group with strange dark eyes looking for someone else with a similar eye. This piqued Nolan’s interest and he was able to get information on an individual named Ari Raven, who is the leader of the group specifically looking for him. He found this very intriguing and usually kept tabs on the group supposedly looking for him
The Only Care
After a long while of not seeing this group, he comes across a member of the group years later in Soleanna. This member is Veda Raynen. Of course she doesn’t recognize Nolan because he kept his identity hidden, but he of course recognized her. Nolan kept trying to talk to her over and over until she eventually gave in and talked with him. The two got along very easily and developed a bond. Every few days they would see each other again and talk often. Eventually they decided to become more friendly with each other and more open with one another as time went on. Veda eventually told him of who she was and that she is in search of Ari because she wants revenge. Nolan, not surprised by this of course also informs Veda of who he is. Which he doesn’t ever do. Anyone else at this point who saw his other form he likes to call it, were dead.
But Nolan felt a strange connection to Veda. This was the first time he wanted to protect and help someone. This new feeling struck interest in him, so he made sure to keep Veda around for a while, and that required Nolan being honest with her. The more and more Veda learned about Nolan, the more odd she felt. She knew she loved him as he did her, however, she couldn’t get over her previous lover Atlas, who was killed. This led her to want to break up with Nolan. This upset him a lot, however he understood her reasoning and wasn’t angry with her. The two eventually separate, but are still good friends.
Dead Roses
Nolan went off to find more work, which once more he went back into the assassin business, where he gained more money again. He continued to kill for millions, over and over, and once again didn’t care about a single person he killed. He began to forget about Veda, although the thought of her made him feel ill inside. He missed the feeling of being loved, and loving someone else. Through this time he experimented with himself and his sexuality. Discovering what kind of people he enjoys, and truly tries to have feelings for others. But still, this comes difficult to him and he still doesn’t value other lives. He only values himself, and his interests. He values entertainment in his life to keep him from boredom.
Eventually his assassin work led him to an organization by the name of Dead Roses. This group was originally an organization for assassins to find easier work, but now it’s for much more. Quinn, the founder of the organization, recognized Nolan’s skills and efforts and invited him to join. Nolan, intrigued with the new personality and character Quinn brought to the table, he accepted. Nolan and Quinn were allies, and worked together to create Dead Roses. With Nolan’s ties to others and Quinn’s intelligence and riches, the two were successful in their line of work. Chancellor was also one of the highest grade assassins in the group, who often helped Nolan and Quinn. Nolan became friends with these people, and felt almost happy to be there. He kept meeting new people, such as Cece and Dylan who have a similar background to Nolan. Nolan found entertainment in Dead Roses for a long time.
As Nolan started to grow bored of the same events happening, he asked Quinn about some things they could do with Dead Roses. These things included selling illegal weaponry, better intel, drugs, and even doing illegal surgeries and other services for criminals. Nolan pushed Quinn to do all these things, and kept pushing him further and further. Nolan wanted to see how far Quinn would go until things became dangerous or absurd to him. And eventually he pushed Quinn to attempt an assassination on a member of the royal family, Prince Liam, the younger brother of the king. This assasination was a success by the hands of both Quinn and Nolan. And because of this success, Nolan’s intention came true. Quinn started to become obsessed with the power Dead Roses held. And Quinn wanted to go as far as take down the rest of the royal family and other nations to even rule the world. Nolan of course found this amusing, and took his leave to initiate other interesting scenarios for himself. This led him to become a mercenary for G.U.N. With fake qualifications and I.D, he made it in quite easily. His entire plan was to get G.U.N to start searching for the culprits of the assassination of the prince. Nolan slowly gave them hints and clues of Dead Roses, creating the scenario he sought out nearly complete. He continues to work for G.U.N, and may even see Quinn and the rest of the members of Dead Rose shortly again...

Lawrence Parks
His father who abused him from a very young age. His father made Nolan hate his discolored eye, and he was the one who raised him to become a killer. Nolan resents him and doesn’t regret killing him in the slightest. He’s very happy he did honestly and hope he burns in hell.
Laura Parks
Nolan didn’t ever have a good relationship with his mother either because she often didn’t stop the abuse that happened to him. At the time he didn’t understand why she never helped, but he does now as he got older. However, he still didn’t and doesn’t like her. He never murdered her though and she died without Nolan’s knowledge.
Veda Raynen
A little after their first meeting, the two get together while Nolan is helping her in her search for Ari. Veda eventually realizes how Nolan is and feels she isn’t the best with him especially because she still couldn’t get over Atlas. So she decides to just stay as his friend. After this Nolan decides to distance himself from her and travel a bit and this is around the time he becomes an assassin, and stops caring for most others. He learned everything he knows about Ari and the Seven Souls from Veda. They don’t meet again until 50 years later when they reunite when Nolan was working with Ari in search of the Seven Souls. They feel awkward around this time and Veda is angry with him at first for working with Ari. Eventually the two ease up to each other again but they never get back together despite both of them still having feelings for each other for a little bit.
Phoebe Silvenburg
Phoebe and Nolan get along just fine in their first meeting. Phoebe eventually starts to try and get closer to him, however, Nolan ends up pushing her away because he usually doesn’t like others being involved in his personal life and because he's worried another relationship would turn out like his last. As time goes on he starts to open up to her and she starts to teach him how to care for others once more. They get together shortly afterwards, but because of Nolan's disappearance they end up breaking up. Nolan didn't think they'd last long anyway.
Yukon Skaflen
Nolan likes Yukon’s looks at first, so he was extremely flirty with him during their first meeting. He eventually starts to like Yukon’s personality as well, and slowly develops feelings for him. He tries to make advances on Yukon throughout their travels together with the other Souls. Yukon overall considers him a friend, but at one point Yukon develops feelings for Nolan as well, however, Yukon never mentions this to Nolan.
Drift the Snow Leopard & Grey
He met Drift along with the rest of the members of Infernal. Nolan always enjoyed his kindness and is heavily attracted to him. He sometimes is a little flirty with him, but it quickly comes to a stop when Drift’s twin brother Cloud interrupts any of Nolan’s actions. Nolan didn’t feel too heavily attached to Drift, and sometimes only flirted with him to upset Cloud as the two didn’t like each other.
Yuki Skaflen
Nolan likes Yuki’s quiet and kind demeanor and appreciates her company. He thinks of her as rather innocent, and knows how she feels about the whole Seven Souls ordeal. He enjoys conversations with her.
Chancellor Green
An old friend of Nolan’s when he was working with Dead Roses. He met Chancellor on a job the two were forced to team up on. Chancellor is one of the few to see Nolan’s abilities and second form in action. Nolan is fond of Chancellor's demeanor but has no romantic feelings for him. Nolan doesn’t see him as often anymore after he left the organization. He hasn’t seen Chancellor in a while, but wouldn’t mind if he did see him again.
Cecelia (Cece) Press
An old member of Dead Roses. The two met on a group assassination, and found Cece’s skills and confidence to be interesting. Nolan became acquainted with her and enjoyed her presence. Eventually she left the organization with her significant other Dylan, and Nolan wouldn’t see them for awhile again until he joined G.U.N. He found it hilarious that both of them worked at G.U.N after working for Dead Roses. However, they both had very separate reasons to be there.
Dylan the Hedgehog
Another old member of Dead Roses and Cece’s significant other. Dylan and Cece were always around each other so Nolan tended to talk to them both. Nolan appreciated Dylan’s mannerisms and was able to hold good conversations with him. Nolan personally preferred Dylan over Cece as she could sometimes get a bit much for him, but overall he was fine with it. Dylan is also one of the few to know of Nolan’s abilities and the other form he possesses. Dylan eventually left Dead Roses along with Cece, in which Nolan didn’t see them again until he worked for G.U.N.
Muffy the Sea Bunny
Nolan finds Muffy to be rather… confusing. He is aware of her great intelligence but is often confused why she doesn’t use it as often as she should. Either within her inventions, or in battle. Her demeanor is odd to him and he believes she may be hiding something from everyone else. For now he continues to examine her since she is very different from anyone else he has met. Muffy tends to make fun of him for little things like his hobbies and likings such as bowling and his liking for tea. She just finds it funny and once more Nolan is confused by her humor as well.
Amber Lindburgh & Alder
Nolan is fascinated by her abilities to make plants come to life, and enjoys her presence. However Nolan has noticed she has become quite friendly with another member of Infernal, Cloud. He always found it amusing to see if something would happen to Amber to see how Cloud would react. Occasionally to upset Cloud Nolan made comments towards Amber or even upset her to make Cloud upset. Nolan finds it quite fun and hilarious. As for his opinion of Alder, Nolan doesn’t think much of him other than that he’s a big old tree… man.
Aio the Wolf & Ielia
Someone Nolan respects for her physical abilities and her manners. He recognizes that she is intelligent and very strong and doesn’t often bother her. They do share some of the same interests, which he appreciates. Ielia on the other hand Nolan doesn’t like at all very much and tends to get into arguments with her. He hates being told what to do by her and sometimes wants to kick that little bird into a wall or something.
Macey the Echidna & Nuri
Nolan doesn’t have much of an opinion of her, he just knows she’s not that strong nor has much control over her fire abilities. He hasn’t had many conversations with her and probably won’t have many more. Nuri he has honestly never spoken to because of how quiet he is.
Quinn the Mink
Quinn, someone he used to be allied and friends with when he used to work for Dead Roses. When Nolan first met Quinn, the two would often talk to one another over a cup of tea. They also went on missions together often, and were a great pair. Quinn is also one of the few that knows of Nolan’s abilities and his second form. However, only two know of his true past, and Quinn is one of those two. Nolan now is the very reason Quinn is how he is today. Nolan pushed Quinn to become something he wasn’t, and now Nolan watches as all the chaos he created unfolds. He’s quite proud of himself for the situation he created between Quinn, Dead Roses, and the rest of the world.
Luke Robinson
Nolan is aware of how Luke truly is. He knows that Luke often hides his true feelings, and in Nolan’s opinion he finds Luke a bit cowardly. He doesn’t believe Luke has the potential to become strong and all, and because of this Nolan often points it out to Luke to try and break him down. Nolan knows how easy it is to break him/make him upset, so he continuously does it. Later on Luke started to fight back, pointing out Nolan’s true self as well. And now the two often just go back and forth with one another. If Luke had better manners and wasn’t so childish to Nolan, he would genuinely like him as he does find him quite attractive.
Brutis the Bull
He is annoyed by this stubborn bull a lot. Others believe Brutis to be kind and strong, while Nolan is annoyed that Brutis thinks he’s better than everyone else. In Nolan’s opinion Brutis is way below him and he doesn’t have any kind of respect for that red bull. Nolan knows he is the best, and despises seeing anyone else think otherwise or think they’re above him. He hopes he can break his demeanor and make him think otherwise someday.
Rouge the Bat
He respects her mannerisms, demeanor, and cunniness. However, because she is apart of Team Dark, Nolan immediately has a dislike for her and doesn’t care about her whatsoever. Other than that he doesn’t have much else of an opinion of her.
E-123 Omega
Nolan finds him interesting mechanically, but finds him annoying as well. He appreciates Omega’s want to burn and kill everything, however, he dislikes how often Omega makes comments about how he could burn and squash him if he wanted to. Nolan believes and knows that would never be the case and is sometimes tempted to prove that robot wrong.
Cloud the Snow Leopard & Orion
Nolan has found it quite fun to mess around with this leopard. After finding out about Cloud’s past, Nolan likes to play mind games with him and try to get Cloud to believe he is the reason for his mother’s and town’s death. Drift often steps in to help Cloud and get Nolan away from him, but he always comes back to upset him more. He doesn’t want Cloud becoming confident in himself or any stronger. There’s a side of Nolan that sometimes believes Cloud could beat him in a fight.
Mei Li
Her stubbornness and bluntness bothers him quite a bit. She is similar to Nolan where she will say things how she sees them no matter what it is, and because of this she has often called out Nolan for his narcissistic and arrogant tendencies. She, like Sho, is also trying to figure out Nolan’s past and that bothers him greatly, she’s quite a nuisance for him.
Grant Leona
The leader of Infernal, and because of his leadership and disliking for Nolan, Grant tends to tell him off or boss him around. Nolan of course dislikes this about him and doesn’t like being stopped from his amusement of others by a simple tiger. Nolan is also aware of Grant's ability to control fire and believes him to be one of the strongest of Infernal. However, Nolan isn’t worried about him in the slightest, he just wants him away from him at all times.
Sho Kila
One of Nolan’s strongest opponents if not the strongest. Sho is investigating Nolan as well as Mei Li, and is constantly interrogating and questioning his every move. This bothers him because it ruins his image and makes everyone else suspicious of him. Out of everyone in Infernal, Sho is the most intriguing to Nolan, and he is also the first to find out about his past, abilities, and intentions. Nolan relates with Sho as well, as their abusive pasts are extremely similar with one another. Nolan knows Sho used to be an assassin, and tries to use that knowledge against him to get him off his back. Of course Sho doesn’t care much and most at Infernal is aware of that knowledge too. After separating for a while after the Dead Rose incident, they meet again when Ari was in search of the Souls. Nolan knew this would happen eventually. Both Nolan and Sho are introduced to Yukon, a young husky traveling alongside Yuki to make sure she’s safe with Ari. They both develop feelings for him, They seem to see the other as competition for Yukon, without actually telling the other they like him.
Anchor the Shark
He finds talking down to a really big shark very amusing. So he often does it. Because he hates him, at least those are the only words that come to mind when Nolan thinks of Anchor. Nolan doesn’t like his demeanor in the slightest or even any of his interests. He knows Anchor likes beer and that disgusts him. As well as Anchor also helps Sho investigate Nolan a bit which tends to get on his nerves.
Shadow the Hedgehog
Shadow is the very reason Nolan doesn’t like Team Dark. He finds Shadow to be edgy and is annoyed with him quite a lot. He respects his morals and motives, however, doesn’t care much and once again wants him as far away from him as possible. This is also the reason when assigned to investigate Dead Roses with Team Dark Nolan left to “investigate” on his own. A.K.A, making the whole scenario and mission more chaotic for all parties involved.
Ari Raven
Nolan refers to Ari as “Raven,” which is her last name. He first did it to be formal, but knowing how Ari dislikes being called by her last name, he now does it to specifically annoy her. He usually doesn’t have an opinion of others and how they behave, but Ari has pissed him off to the point where Nolan would honestly prefer for Ari to be dead. He is forced to work side by side with her for the time being, so he must tolerate her presence. The two certainly didn’t start off great as they immediately had a huge fight that destroyed a good portion of a city in the meantime. Despite his disliking for Ari, he only thinks of her as a rival.
Carter Ridley
Another member of Infernal, however, he wasn’t part of the missions in person often so Nolan didn’t talk to him as much. He does know Carter is closest friends with Luke and is the guidance behind the missions, however, that’s about as far as Nolan’s knowledge of this fox goes.
Kayla Silvenburg (Diana Armstrong)
A well-known assassin of Dead Roses. He didn’t talk to her much in person because of how quiet she is, but he knows of her skill and she has a very high bounty on her head. Because of Nolan’s likeness for money he has been tempted to kill her and take that bounty for himself, but never did or does. Eventually he discovers Diana is the older sister of Phoebe, her real name being Kayla of the Silvenburg family.
Jay Robinson
Another well known assassin of Dead Roses. Nolan doesn’t know much about him until he meets the members of Infernal, or a very specific member, Luke Robinson, who is Jay’s younger brother.
Purdy Redcrosse
Purdy, who he met through Infernal, is someone who has a lot of connections with a lot of information. Which is all Nolan knows of him, and the fact he has stuck around Infernal for quite some time. Nolan doesn’t have much care for him but is curious what his background is and how he has and gets so many connections with so many different kinds of people.
Gandalfur
Nolan has been told by Ari that this is the enemy they are after. Nolan personally doesn’t care and just follows alongside the other Souls, however, he does still try and kill Gandalfur. Overall, he doesn’t have a strong opinion of Gandalfur, even when meeting him in person.
Avarice
Upon meeting this being Nolan didn’t have a strong opinion or feelings about him. He just knew he had to destroy it alongside the other Souls.
