she only left because the village soothsayers were unnerved by the growing aether imbalance, and they figured if the aether was going to be dominated by one element then it might as well be water (the best one) so they sent their strongest warrior to fight in the name of the FISH! so now tsubugai is a thorn in the wols side and shes dedicated to being a huge fucking nuisance. would probably need to be killed because she would refuse to stop fucking shit up or accept a redemption arc no matter how hard wol tries. i love her
