Love is often credited as the most powerful emotion. But only because many do not want to acknowledge loves equally powerful cousins; anger and hatred.
Maeve is a bitter, angry creature. Filled with rage at a world that has betrayed her. She trusts no one but herself and throws harsh judgments at everything that comes her way. She cares not for others. Woe unto those who draw her fiery gaze.
Possessive as they come, Maeve won't let anything slip through her claws, not again. She fights tooth and claw for what is rightfully hers and won't let anyone take it from her. Full of anger and hatred, Maeve is a solitary creature who lashes out at any who dare to approach her. Life has taught her that she is better off alone, that she can depend on nobody but herself.

Maeve lives alone now, deep in the wilderness of Grimtown. She wanders the dusty landscape, patrolling her territory and seeing off any intruders.
History
Maeve was not always the beast she is today. She was once an ordinary Shourinokobi, one prone to bitterness and anger, yes but still an ordinary Shouri. She lived a fairly uneventful life with her mate; a surprisingly sunny and cheerful Shouri. She was Maeve's anchor to the world and kept the angry Shouri grounded. But that all changed one day. Her mate was attacked, in front of her. A vicious attack that Maeve was unable to prevent. She fought wildly to get the attackers off her mate but it was too late. She died in Maeve's arms. It broke Maeve. So much anger and pain in her heart, it crystallised and she became the beast. Her fury burned bright and she saw vengeance on the world that had taken everything from her.

Naturally large and terrifying, intimidation comes easily to Maeve. It takes little more than a dirty look to make most Shourinokobi cower.

Maeve hates diplomacy. She despises compromises. Why should she bow to others when she can take what she wants.

Big, fierce, and powerful, Maeve excels in combat. She enjoys the thrill of battle, which makes her try harder.
Puzzle Solving
Dexterity and critical thinking are not Maeve's strong suit. More brawn than brain, any battle of wits and smarts tend to frustrate the Shouri and led her to violent outbursts.
