The way Iluzija ended up as part of a force fighting nightmares and defending the stability of reality was a compete coincidence.
She is the oldest member of the Dreamcatchers so far, having joined as a middle-aged lady, having already raised her cubs and now looking forward to becoming a granny. She is the essence of a mother - she treats everyone she meets as a helpless cub that she needs to take care of. Even if they don’t want to and flat out refuse, she will try to help them and make sure they eat their veggies.
Ilu has never fought anyone and probably never will. She is the sweetest lioness and only sees good in everyone. Her kindness could probably turn a nightmare around.
Ilu has been through some hardships, having been left by her mate and having to raise her cubs alone. She found herself in her new role as a mother and her life became better from that day on. It could be the reason why she loves being one so much.
Can communicate with others via thoughts. Can only send thoughts, not receive them. Cannot read minds.
- Bossy - she tries to order even the captain, but it’s for his own good
- Passive - she lets the children “play war” and prefers to stay away from the fight
- Melancholic - she’ll go on for hours talking about her children and her own youth
Iluzija used to be the scout of a pride living in a lush green grassland. She spent long hours hidden on tops of rocks, surveying the borders of their territory. Thanks to her ability she was able to send messages to the warriors as soon as she spotted a threat. It gave her tribe a big advantage since they were able to prepare and fight back or escape without casualties.
Because of that she was rather lonely, having to stay by herself for most of the time and not being able to receive messages back. One day however, she met a stranger, a lone lion. They fell in love, but her clan would not accept him. They eloped, but her happiness did not last long. The male abandoned her, never giving a reason why.
She was too embarrassed to return to her old pride so she decide to venture out into the world. She had to learn how to hunt, find water and shelter all alone. Well, not quite. New lives were growing inside her belly. It motivated her and she managed to find a new home and raise them with love. They became her whole world.
She realised she did not have to stand on the sides and let others do the work. She did not have to be just a messenger anymore or rely on anyone else. She was a huntress and a mother and she was proud.
