What i would use him for:

-To get better at drawing humanoids.

-To get better at making character relationships.

Personality to probably be added to what he already has because its good:

-Feeds stray cats around his home. (Idk if he Actually lives in the normal world if not then he probably feeds whatever the equivalent is. Which is probably pretty funny if its like demon creatures or something.)

-Likes to woodwork and gives his projects to his friends and loved ones once he's done.

-Became ambidextrous because he got tired of having to take so much time to plan so now he can plan and do other things as the same time!

-The last time he lost his cool he had to pay several buildings for repairs. He never did of course but ya know.

-Owns a red pet betta fish who he has dubbed "King Killer the third" on account of them killing all their tankmates because Charon didn't completely read the care manual before getting them. "King Killer the third" alone occupies a 20 gallon fish tank.

-Overplans ahead for big projects like planning to kill large amounts of people. Because he despises wasting time.

• Why I chose him for my novel: Well, I have been contemplating on my novel titled "Dark Rose Avenue" ever since Halloween. Due to my love for horror stories and plot twisting stories, I decided to write once more. Charon here, was planned out to be the one of my characters, howler, best friends. His other role is that he is the older brother to another character of mine (W.I.P). His character design was literally what I was thinking of when it came to making the character for this role. 

• What's "Dark Rose Avenue" and how does Charon fit into the story?: "Dark Rose Avenue" takes place around the late 80's in Drence, Wyoming (This is fictional, it's not real, but it is located near Bedford, Wyoming with a population of 280). What seems like a normal, uneventful, small town takes a turn when Howler moves into town. He notices strange and ominous occurrences within the town and creates an investigation to track down the mysteries. Charon is Howler's 1st friend that he made when moving to Bedford. 

• Howler's and Charon's Relationship: Because Howler moved from an even smaller town to Drence and had a completely mysterious personality from the others, upper class-men and other juniors would bully Howler for his uniqueness. Charon stepped in because he knew this was wrong and secretly shared a liking with Howler, Mysteries. Ever since they would hangout and even become Drence High School's best duo.

• Howler's and Charon's Relationship (Publicly): When they're in public, Charon has a big brother dynamic with Howler. Charon acts out when others attempt to pick on him or embarrass in Public. Most people tend to dodge Charon once he begins to hang out with Howler, but he doesn't care.
  
  
• Howler's and Charon's Relationship (Privately): When they're in private, Charon tends to embrace Howler, his health, and feelings. He tends to treat him as if he understands him and his issues. Or sometimes he'll baby him. Although they are close, he his unsure on how he feels about Howler.

• Charon's Secret: Charon is apart of a secret society within Drence. People like him are consider outcasts, so he hides what he actually is. Charon is apart of the "Phantazein" ("Phantazein" is the Greek word for "phantasm") ,but he's actually a Grim Reaper. None of his family knows, nor sister, and not even Howler. Charon wants to tell Howler, but he's unsure about it and he doesn't want Howler to consider him an enemy or a monster. In order to keep himself sane, he has to get a mystique in order to keep everyone from seeing what he actually was.

I was going to put a personality but I'm never really consistent with keeping personalities for when I draw them haha. Thinking about it more now I think he'd be a chaotic, cool, and nerdy type of guy (or gal...i think I would want to make them genderfluid..) i don't know if those combos fit together but I can see them carrying the scythe around on halloween in a scream or reaper costume around and scaring innocent kids. Boo would be at the house passing candy out while Versace is "trick or treating" by scaring the kids for their candy.

OOhhhh can i please have them? i could see him being the cool reaper that takes the souls from my serial killer oc Murtaugh. I can see him being a little spiteful and doing his best to annoy Murtaugh like all hell. Perhaps a MLM thing going on between them? XD

I'd definitely put Charon in my Appalachian Gothic story, which revolves around a few major plots: [1] a group of small town paranormal investigators (Jasmine, Mahiri, and Zoe) trying to hunt down a murderous forest creature, [2] a local quasi-supernatural killer (Phoebe) who falls in love with the sheriff's daughter (Jasmine) and they have awkward sapphic encounters that lead to the killer ramping up the intricacy of her kills to try and get her attention in the least healthy way possible, [3] the wheelchair-bound motorhead (Zoe) has to start dealing with her burgeoning lycanthropy, keeping it secret from her friends and getting help from a local attorney (Tatiana) who may or may not be in touch with forces beyond the pale. It's hard to tell, she's very dodgy about it.

Charon, then, would fall into the story as an at-first seemingly unaware third party, a cousin of one of the investigators (Mahiri) but is in fact a smilar kind of entity as Phoebe. Drawn to the town by the ramping up of violence and stakes, his confidence and charm would act as a sort of foil to the more awkward Phoebe, his disregard for the well being of others would provide a foil for Tatiana's more nuanced and commpassionate lessons to the newly turned werewolf, Zoe (in the vein of 'aren't you tired of being nice? don't you want to just go apeshit?'). Overall I'd have him as a subtle manipulator, challenging Phoebe by outclassing her in every way as a killer and keeping the entire group of investigators running in circles like some kind of sadistic hunter toying with its prey.

The whole vibe of the story is one of hope and love blossoming in the face of seemingly insurmountable horror, of how people change in the face of tragedy and more specifically how we deal with changes that we have no control over, and dealing with toxic relationships and the fallout that they can leave us with.

What I'll use him for: He'll be used in one of my comci / stories. I'm currently debating between two of them since I see him fitting in with both of them but I think I might use him in both because I really love both of these ideas. His name, sexuality and gender will be the same in both though.

Story 1
This comic / story is for spreading awareness and educating people on minority groups and using them to get rid of some stigmas. Some groups include mental disorders like DID and schizophrenia and the LGBTQ+ community. It's still a wip though since I've been researching about a lot of things and have been struggling to come up with designs. He'll be apart of the LGBTQ+ community and used to educate others about pansexuals and maybe misophonia (although I'm still debating about misophonia atm). He's going to be close friends with one of my character's who doesn't have a name yet since Im still trying to fix their design. He and that that character like to cosplay, his favorite outfit is going to be the reaper one. He's also going to be friends with another character Ryker / The Altura System. I see them having a rocky relationship, there might be a few augments every now and then but its not that bad. They learn to work things out. Charon is a hardheaded person who often gets into arguments with others since he tends to be upfront and direct. There are times where he is aggressive but overall he means no harm and loves competition.

Story 2
This comic / story is about earth that has been destroyed due to pollution. Animals have gone extinct and humans are soon to follow, plants are extremely rare. Because of this the remaining humans have mutated and gained attributes to help them adapt and survive. Society is no more and there are no rules. Charon is one of the people who wants humans to go extinct. He sees himself as a grim reaper hence why his choice of weapon is a scythe. He believes that the era of humans are no more and takes the responsibility of getting rid of them all in hopes that the planet would able to revive its self overtime since humans can no longer corrupt it. He works alone unless he sees a reason to team up with someone such as they too want to help get rid of humans or they prove that they're worthy to live.
