Maarithun

An elusive creature indeed.

Maarithun is a unique beast, able to freely walk with both animals and humans. Respected, even feared in some ways, he spreads wisdom of worlds unknown to those he deems worthy.

As is normal of society, there are many who see him as a protector; a guardian of knowledge, granting gifts to mortals. And there are many who see him as an evil creature, one who must be eradicated to preserve nature.

And there are some who regard him as a myth, only appearing if you call out his name in the dead of night.
