Riptide had a good upbringing, he lived and florished in the coral reef with his family and friends. The reef has provided a home for many fascinating creatures. His bright scales blend in well with the colorfulness of the reef.
He spends his time restoring the his decaying home to, hoping to return it into a state which he remembered when he was young. Growing sea life (both plants and animals alike) is his expertise, healing and spreading the reef as far as the eye can see.
