Even though he lives in 'hell' he's a kind and curious soul. He has an innocence to him that comes from not being very bright.His thinking is straight forward and doesn't really process what he has in mind well, nor has an over arching end goal.
Others don't know how he ended up in the below world, it's hard to get here especially for (half) alive beings. It just seems like he wandered into this place on his own. Tracking him isn't hard and it's not like he's gonna do any harm so others keep him around. The hard part is cleaning up the never ending trail of organs and blood.
