Naida is really dedicated to her work. She does anything to reach her goals and finish her missions. When she was a kid she was really lively but after a certain experiment, she became became the polar opposite of what she used to be, making her lock herself away from many. Her fierce posture is loved and feared by many. She's extremely intelligent, patient and unwavering at all times. While she can sometimes turn out harsh - she's not heartless. She is caring of friends and shows enough emotion to them to let them know how she feels or expresses her kindness in giving gifts. After the war, Naida took a role of a mercenary and left the rulership of IRE to her "adoptive parents" Regina Birkin and Moreau Robin Dermont.

Her Story

Naida Kamui is a superhuman project made in the walls of IRE. She is the first project that was made from an infant. Despite having more new projects after her making who could surpass her - she evolves all the time, developing more and more powers that even the scientists can't explain

Naida was born to a CEO Tsukiko Kamui of probably the biggest company called The Kamui Corporation originated in Japan. Naida was born ill with a blood disease that would not let her live more than a few weeks. Tsukiko knew of IRE and immediately made her way to South Korea, to the IRE HQ. The CEO at that time, Eurynome Ethrella saw her pleas but denied her despite IRE taking in the sick to give them a new life. After all, the corporations at this time were at each others throats for the throne to be top one in the industry. Even Eurynome wanted this throne but for completely different reasons than what others had. She felt a mystical energy from Naida, something she had not felt in a long time - magic. Eurynome agreed to turn Naida into a project on one condition that Tsukiko will only see her when Naida is fully ready to do so. Tsukiko agreed but Eurynome's plan grew only bigger - groom Naida as a puppet for possible takeover of The Kamui Corporation in her grand plan of taking over the world. Naida was assigned under Regina Birkin and Moreau Robin Dermont - two of the top scientists in IRE. It took them a lot of work but soon enough - project INFINITY was made. Naida was like a child to Regina so both of them spent a lot of time together. As a youngster, Naida was really lively and jumpy. Her energy had no end so she made IRE more lively by mostly making the guards catch the little troublemaker. As she grew older, about the age of 8, she started her training. She advanced really fast and it made Regina proud but little Naida was sad that Moreau was not present, since he went missing, to see her growth in power and intellect. Naida's mother had given Regina a beautiful sword that she wanted Naida to have. To escape trouble, Regina claimed that the weapon is made by her to be given to Naida. Eurynome was never a fan of Naida's playfulness since that could interfiere with her ultimate plan so she had to think of something... But she didn't take a long time to think since Naida requested that she wants to go to school among humans. Regina was not sure of this but Eurynome allowed Naida to do so. As expected by Regina, this experiment was a total failiure. It ended with Naida being bullied and even ended with her wings being ripped off by one of the bullies, since her wings were really fragile. This made Naida terrified and even developed PTSD. She refused to do her practices or even come out of her chambers. Time came when she did and she was a completely different person. Other projects called her "the scowling owl". You could never see her smile. Ever. She took her training more seriously and often even overworked herself and her abilities. At this same time, because of tampering with her DNA and body, her magicae blood reacted negatively to it and Naida developed a sort of corrupted form where a dark, starry like substance slowly takes over her body, making her more and more unstable as it takes her over more. This entity also spoke in many, distorted like voices and calls itself "Cursed Minds". While in this state, her blood was drawn to be just this starry black substance that later was called Eorium Corruption and used on other upcoming projects. Naida was made to turn into this form many times despite her having major difficulty controlling it, often needing to be tranquilized or neutralized. Eurynome tested on Cursed Minds to see Naida's limits which often were pushed too far. Either way - Naida was determined to take full control of this new form too as it meant more power to use but despite how much she mastered to control it - she never could control it fully and can use it for limited time until her body starts to eat itself out. Naida was quite a loner without trying to make friends until she found one - Eve Bergmane, a newly made project. With Eve by her side, Naida felt more alive than ever. They spent a lot of time together, they were almost like sisters but like a curse, everything had to come to an end. Eve would slowly become more and more distant until one day, on Naida's 18th birthday, Eve went rogue. Naida was heartbroken - her greatest friend has become her greatest enemy. In a few months, despite all the abuse this person put Naida through, the person she looked up to the most and idolized has now become the enemy too - Eurynome Ethrella. She has lost her father figure, her happiness, her best friend and now her hope for a brighter future in this cursed world as IRE was just made to be another being that will bring this world to ruin. She kept her head clear and took over control of IRE together with Regina Birkin. As she became the leader, she uncovered many secrets of this world and of Eurynome herself. There were demons and angels and even magic that has sealed off itself from this world. She uncovered that Eurynome herself is a demon explaining her long lifespan since none of the scientists have ever come close to any of the projects living longer than a normal human lifespan while Eurynome would brush it off as just a genetic mutation in her. Eurynome has been lying to everyone, to the whole world. The peace and protection she promised was just to cover her true intentions. Her ultimate plan of taking over the world and bring the Lord Lucifer himself down on his knees was why IRE was made in the first place. Her head was spinning from all the new info. Heaven, hell and even magic? Naida realized that Euryome is probably after the magic so she did her best to find it first. What she did not expect is Eve being under Eurynome's control all this time with the cursed substance that came from Naida herself and Eruynome made sure to send Eve after Naida any time possible. Many battles were fought, many allies lost and what no one else expected the most - the fall of Naida. The constant battles and the need of dictatorship has led Naida to the lowest point which Eve used to strike her down once and for all. Close to dying, her body was carried back to IRE by project UMBRA. Scientists terrified of what to do, called back all the troops to stand guard on IRE grounds. As they started working on her body, the moon on her forehead gave off light pulses of glow which nobody understood. Out of nowhere, 4 figures in dark cloaks appeared, removing their hoods claiming to be the birds of the moon. Right by them stood the same magical beings that sealed themselves off so humans would not use their magic to their atvantage - the magicae myth race. They sure made the guards jump but Regina's eyes widen as she read about them in a book that was found in archives locked away by Eurynome in the discovered undergrounds of IRE. Birds of the moon are magicae myths - magical creatures who praise the moon spirit in exchange of power. Their hair is shimmering white, with varieties of feather like ears and pale skin that make your eyes focus on their bright blue eyes. They claim that Naida is one of them but the heavy modifications of IRE have drained her magical essence to almost zero. Regina could see the similarities in Naida and the birds as her hair also has a white color and her ears are like little wings. As she is one of theirs, they offered to help with her "rebirth" but they asked for refuge since Eurynome just has managed to find and destroy their home. Regina agreed as she would do anything to save Naida. The birds told them that in the underground of IRE, Eurynome is keeping someone imprisoned who will help with "resurrection" of Naida - the High Priestess. Without any questions asked, a team was dispatched to find this mysterious being while the birds with the collaboration of the scientists did their best to keep Naida alive. It took two days for them to find this being who turned out to be a some sort of diety for the Birds of the Moon hence why she was a key of Naida's upbringing. The High Priestess got right away on the resurrection but from all the imbalance of magic and the special DNA, there was too much power in Naida that was ripping her appart making scientists install special cybernetics in her to hold her together. After many hours of work, they finally finished the job. The birds claimed that she needs some rest and suggested to leave Naida in the spring shrine that was made for Nachtmahrs as the moonlight and cold spring water will help with the healing. After complete recovery, Naida had to learn to get back on her feet fast. The birds noticed her sword that was given by her biological mother and claimed to Regina that its powers are blocked by a seal. Immediately of mentioning this - first thing that came in Regina's mind was the power supressor on Naida's left upper arm that she's had on as a child, personally modded on by Eurynome, claiming that if ever removed, she'd die. Naida needed some time to recollect her thoughts because at this point she did not know what she is anymore. A project? A magical creature? Maybe.. an abomination? No matter what, she had to collect herself and march right back into the battlefield fighting for the safety of the world. As the final battle progressed and came to a climax, Naida knew she can't destroy Eurynome just with her own power and her sword so Naida had to rely on her Cursed Minds form a lot and Eurynome made sure to mock her for it. Barely clutching to her sword, as she had used up all the power she had to hold together Cursed Minds, she had a sudden idea. The power supressor she's had on as long as she remembers. Eurynome has always told her that if it ever gets removed, Naida would die so they made sure no weapon could get it off but Naida's sword was no ordinary sword, it was made by magicae myths. She stood up as Eurynome laughed at her while looking at curious yet sly face of Naida positioning the sword by the surpressor, telling her that she wonders if it was just another lie of Eurynome or is Naida really gonna die. This surely made Eurynome gasp as it's clealry not what's gonna happen. It'll break the seal that doesn't allow Naida to use her Magicae powers to her fullest.Terrified Eurynome barked at Naida to snap out of it, yelling that she will die. Naida's face left a bleak but a scary smile claiming that at this point, she doesn't care if she dies or not. As she finished her sentence, Naida stabbed her arm right under the surpressor and pushed the sword out, making it snap off like nothing. Instead of dying, Naida unleashed a new power within herself turning into her true form. She did not expect it and sure as hell Eurynome did not desire it. This helped her a lot to achieve the mission and Eurynome was slain once and for all. With all IRE projects by her side she stood victorious against the demon known as Eurynome. Naida freed Eve from the shackles of mindcontrol, including other projects that were under the same control, and welcomed her back to IRE. After this year long battle, Naida stepped down as the CEO of IRE giving the title to her adoptive mother Regina with her returning adoptive father Moreau and became vigilante mercenary on standby in IRE, helping people in need when required.

• Naida can turn into a leucistic great horned owl which by others is believed to be just her pet and no one knows she can do this.

Tony Monterello [ soulmate ]

Naida and Tony dated for 3 years. After the uncover of Eurynome, Naida didn't have much time for him so they both decided to split. They got back together shortly after it and have been together stronger than ever.

Ivel Kamui [ DNA sister ]

Ivel was giving Naida a headache from the start but Naida grew fond of her. They both are really close and protective of each other.

Regina Birkin [ adoptive mother ]

Despite Regina being her scientist - Naida looks up to her as a mother and cherishes her greatly. If even a feather would land on her, hell would break lose.

Moreau Robin Dermont [ adoptive father ]

She mostly has memories with him as a child before he went AWOL. Even so - now she's more happy than ever for him to be back and them starting a new page in their relationship.
