Neurotic, meticulous, superstitious, paranoid, disorganized, agoraphobic, snappy.

Real name / surname is unknown. When asked for his name in inpatient he used the name 'Salem'. Has gone by this name ever since.

Has Paranoid Schizophrenia and OCD. Chronic opioid and stimulant user. Heavy smoker. Obsessively grooms, pulls out fur and picks at skin (dermatillomania & trichotillomania). He can be difficult to talk to due to misreading social cues or disorganised thought/speech. When lucid, he is quite monotone and flat. Becomes agitated and incoherent when experiencing psychosis.

Has persecutory delusions and auditory hallucinations. Self-injurous behaviour occurs when he is experiencing contamination/surveillance delusions or persecutory hallucinations. Very poor self care. Lives in government housing. Often vagrant due to paranoid delusions.

A friend of Lucille who she met once at a halfway house and again at a hospital. Still keeps in contact with her because she is a grounding presence and doesn't mind when he speaks word-salad at her. Often frequents the grocery store where Koda works and sleeps outside near the dumpster. Koda is kind of scared of him due to his intense presence. Despite most people being intimidated by him, he is nonviolent and generally likes to stay away from people.

-dorsal side is slightly 'rusted' along with the tip of his tail

-often has scabs or bare patches of skin from picking at scabs

-notch in left ear, eyebrow piercing on left side.
