Pelt's Links
Oh! Never is, uh, nice? Odd, certainly has her own way about things, but, y'know... nice? Pelt just wishes she'd be that little bit more talkative. The whole... 'mostly silent' thing makes her very hard to read. Though the mystery of it all is very alluring. He'd be perhaps lying a little if he said he WASN'T attracted to her.
Still, there's a certain sense of... familiarity about her. Something about someone who went missing long ago...
...Makes for a pleasant housemate.
O-oh god Eer. Eer is... certainly something. I mean, yeah, he's a good friend - they spend a lot of time together, in and outside of work. In some ways, he's what Pelt aspires to be - a technical genius, filled to the brim with confidence, with no doubt in his abilities and a level of charisma to win people over despite his often-times rather abrasive use of language. Still... oh god, being around the guy can be draining - he has WAY too much energy.
He can also be, uh, really kinda pushy. Like, Pelt KNOWS Eer wants to help him with the whole 'confidence' thing. But trying to force him into situations where he'll have to ask out Never is NOT helping!
Hey dude, lighten up! You've got the power to get swole, what you gotta be so worried about? The chicks are all gonna dig that!
Really, Eer likes Pelt quite a lot. They get on well enough, with a mutual enjoyment of both games and science. Admittedly Pelt's not the COOLEST guy around, but hell, everyone's gotta have a token nerd friend right?
Really, all Pelt needs to do is pluck up some courage and put himself out there - in particular, put himself forward to ask Never out. Eer will even be his wingman! How could he fail?
D-Diavolo? Diavolo is... kinda scary. She's very authoritive, very... cold and distant. She has a hard edge to her... though at the same time that all seems to be on the surface?
Like, deep down, she seems... nice. Almost motherly in a way, with the way she cares for everyone, looks after them. Of course, Pelt wouldn't want to say that to her face - she'd probably blow it off or ignore him. Or pin him with that penetrating stare that seemed to look down to the very soul.
Still... that coldness, that scariness... it's a shield right? And it's one that Pelt things he may just be able to peek past...
Poor poor Pelt. Diavolo feels... guilty in a way that he got wrapped up in the upper folds of Dragon Corp. He doesn't exactly seem, uh, cut out for his position in the company. Not that he's not skiilled, or that he's unintelligent or anything. It's more a case of... oh god Pelt is a nervous wreck.
She does appreciate him - she appreciates him a lot really. Of all the people she regularly interacts with, he's probably the most straight-forward pleasant of them all. She just wishes she didn't feel the need to protect him from the very things she may need to ask of him.
Oh, er, yes, Seth! Seth's great - no like, honestly. Like, okay he has his, er... habits... Like rapidly swapping between overworking to horrific stress levels, and underworking to a point he's not turning up to meetings he himself has called. Plus all the, uh, casual drinking, smoking, and sexual remarks - and assumingly sex, not that Pelt's had any part in that! But like - he's still amazing though!
He's extremely confident, leagues more intelligent than anyone else Pelt knows, and despite what some people might think, he's a deep-down good person. He picked Pelt up from a low point, and has been helping to build his confidence! Overall he's both an inspiration and just like... a good friend, y'know?
Pelt! Seth likes Pelt quite a lot actually! Of course, he seems to like anyone he can get to stutter and blush that much. There's just so much... fun to be had in corrupting the pure - plus teasing him over his crush on Never!
Of course, Seth does place a lot of trust in Pelt. He's intelligent, and pretty damn powerful when he wants to be. He just needs to, y'know, build that confidence up a little.
Either way, regardless, he's a fun guy to have around. Certainly more willing than Diavolo to sit down and play a few video games at the very least!
I-Igsma? Igsma's nice! Okay, admittedly, um, a little bit overwhelming at times. Like, nothing compared to Eer, though she still definitely is a powerful presence. And oh god when they're both together it's just... it's like a bomb has gone off in the room. A bomb of bright colours and rap lyrics.
Still! Pelt and Igsma do get on pretty well! Like, she's one of the most genuinely pleasant members of S.P.I.N.E, and will often go out of her way to speak to Pelt - albeit she seems to struggle to assess whether or not he may already be, uh, preoccupied...
Oh my goood, ask her out already! And like, properly, not any of this 'she turned down a drink so it's not gonna work out' business. A date dummy! Igsma KNOWS Pelt's into the shadow wolf - and she ain't gonna blame the guy, she don't exactly look bad. Still, she's AT LEAST 78% sure Never likes him back, SO HE NEEDS TO GET ON WITH THAT.
Regardless of Pelt being ABSOLOUTELY ATROCIOUS at asking his coworker out, Igsma gets on with the guy! He's fun when he's actually partaking in things and not stuttering and mumbling! Albeit, she has to repeat herself a fair bit just so he can, y'know... keep up with the conversation.
O-oh, er, Boa! Boa is, um, very pleasant - very smart! A fellow scientific mind who Pelt would be, uh, more than willing to exchange notes with! He's a good... er... friend? Well okay maybe they don't know each other well enough to say that yet but... they seem to get on?
He's also just so... fascinating. Pelt's never seen anything else like him and he'd LOVE to know more. And yet... Boa himself doesn't seem interested? Boa's lack of self-interest absoloutely baffles Pelt. Then again... he's one to talk.
Aww, Pelt is really cool! He's such a shy and nervous thing, and there's really no need to be when he's.. well, he's brilliant! He knows what he's talking about, and Boa has no hesitation in thinking that Pelt is an absolutely fantastic mind with an interesting view on the world, with his own theories and even inventions. In anything, the little wolf seems to perk up when discussing his own ideas, so that's definitely something similar between them! Seriously, he'd love to talk to him so more, maybe break him out of his shell, and even go out into the field together! Just er, as long as... Pelt doesn't start prying into Boa's own existence.
Pelt works for Dragon Corp. as a member of S.P.I.N.E. He operates as both a genetics expert within the company, and as an enforcer. Pelt is second-in-command of S.P.I.N.E - even he's not sure why.
