Character

History

born to an angel father and human mother, his parents are often busy with other worldly duties, leaving little time for luciel. as an only child, he finds ways to keep himself occupied. he lived up in heaven with his father, occasionally visiting his mother on earth. his parents met when they were young and never got married. they're not in love, but still care for one another a great deal. the presence of an angel, even that of a half angel, send humans in distress. angels have strong auras, and if around humans for an extended period of time, it can become unbearable and leave lasting mental issues. luciel´s mother already has a bit of angel essence, courtesy of her half angel relatives, rendering her more tolerant to them. 

his mother is a nurse and his father is a messenger to "god". because of his father's close relationship with "god", he has a hand in luciel´s life. upon discovering luciel was a nephilim, god branded luciel, ie the markings on his legs and wrist. the seals are meant to keep his powers in check. angel halflings are believed to be dangerous and unpredictable, and are considered inferior. the do not have the full capabilities of angels, yet are much too powerful compared to humans. luciel´s father was horrified, but couldn't exactly abandon his job, so he hides luciel on earth with his mother. it gives him an excuse to visit her and keeps luciel safe. his mother isn't always around; her job is hectic, so luciel is often left to his own devices. his mother's house is warded, made undetected by angels in case "god"'s men come looking for luciel. he is homeschooled, by both his mother and father whenever they find the time. 

Personality

luciel has a lot of time to himself and enjoys reading. he is very independent and likes to explore and collect items. he takes an interest in the natural world, especially humans. he is fascinated by their antics, their desire to know everything. he likes to watch them sometimes, as one would watch birds. 

luciel is surprisingly mature for being so young. he often says things that throw off his young colleagues. a bit too philosophical and "deep" for his age, even his elders are a bit taken back. he is very docile and avoids conflict. a bit of a peace maker and very rational. very blunt and skips straight to the point. doesn't get many chances to socialize with kids his age, so he tends to hang with adults, and tends to pick up things from their speech patterns.

luciels is very agreeable; he finds it too bothersome to give lengthy explanations.

Other

his clipped wing remain lame due to a birth defect.

will grow up to study human behavior and their general antics, no longer having to hide as half angels are deemed equal to full fledged angels.
