Backstory
Seresa was born to the Veena clan, deep within the forests below the Skatay Range in Othard.
While in her adolescence, an invasion of Garlean forces left her sector of the Veena clan in shambles, taking those who survived the invasion as prisoners to be indoctrinated as Garlean soldiers or, in her case, sold through the black market as a rare and exotic slave from the Far East to fund Garlemald's expansion efforts.
It is unclear what became of her mother as survivors of her clan retreated deeper into the forest and refuse contact with outsiders, including those stolen away who have found their way back home.
The slave ship bearing her and many others from different races across treacherous seas was pillaged by pirates and ultimately sank to the bottom of the ocean as it approached Eorzean waters. Through the mercy of Hydaelyn she managed to survive, washing ashore the Black Shroud to be taken in and cared for by the moogles of the Twelveswood.
Years later upon discovering Garleans invading the Black Shroud, she resolved to stop them at all cost, became an adventurer, and grew into a worthy archer, advancing to become a master of songs as she joined the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and earned the title "Warrior of Light".
Through her explorations outside of the Black Shroud, she has become quite fond of the Coerthas region as it reminds her of her homeland in Othard.
Not to mention her feelings for a certain noble Elezen with jet black hair and ice blue eyes.
She carries a moogle-made bow adorning a model of Good King Moggle Mogg XII, a gift from her moogle family before she departed the Black Shroud.
