Roxanne

Roxanne is a fun, playful, confident person - almost the polar opposite of her cousin, Zylin. She's very comfortable with her sexuality and won't hesitate to use it to her advantage.

Roxanne's father was a scout in the peacekeeping corps, and was often gone for long periods at a time. He would always bring back a present for her when he returned and spend as much time as possible with his family before his next deployment. One of these presents were a pair of captured animal spirits - a rabbit and a fox - which quickly became Roxanne's constant companions. Despite his many absences (or perhaps because of them), Roxanne idolized her father. He died on duty when she was 8 and she was determined to follow his footsteps and join the corps, much to her mother's dismay.

When Roxanne was 16, Zylin (10) came to live with her family so she could attend the schools in the city and remained there for 12 years before she found her own apartment. Although Zylin isn't her immediate relation, they share an intimate connection from living in the same household and working towards the same goal.

In combat, Roxanne has a lot of support from her two spirit summons, as well as her assistant. The assistant is a very young (but very talented) girl named Christine, who specializes in healing, wards, and other support magic. Roxanne can use a small  amount of magic herself, but is primarily a melee fighter, relentlessly attacking the enemy with her dual swords while her companions focus on her defense. They create a formidable team that can be deployed quickly to suppress escalating conflict.
