Princess Riri

The ambitious and rebellious princess of an alien kingdom

Impatient and selfish, Princess Riri isn't the easiset person to get along with. She is used to getting exactly what she wants, and finds it hard adjusting to a non-pampered lifestyle. Being the 5th princess, she was mostly unsupervised for a lot of her life, while her oldest sister was under strict tutoring. She was also not given any real power in the government, never having large responsibility or power over anything significant. Riri finds palace life boring, wanting much more to go out and find adventure and heroics, despite her lack of experience or innocence regarding the dangerous world beyond her peaceful port kingdom. She is insensitive to the servants in the palace, and often orders them around without much sympathy to their own personal lives or situations.

Most of Riri's knowlege of the world outside the palace comes from occasional and heavily supervised outings to the castle town and the vast library inside the palace. Riri spent most of her childhood causing mischeif and reading books about adventurers and heros. While she acts spoiled, she is actually quite lonely, her family not spending much time with each other due to royal responsibility. After joining a crew of pirates, Riri comes to realize the true nature of the nebula that she lives in. The adventures that she comes across eventually help her to discover that empathy and kindness are much more important in survival than swords and laser guns.
