A nostalgic lawyer, trying to cope with abrupt life changes
A brilliant law school graduate with a keen sense of justice, Breanna was always eager to fight against the sides of the world she could never nor understand neither agree with. The world she personally always struggled to fit in, but loved it passionately nevertheless in all it uglienes, because there always was something precious to protect. Good people, that silly endless detective show she enjoyed so much, her job, her family. Untill it all was suddenly taken away from her, and she was the one to survive and try to navigate in completely changed world and to cope with the fact nothing will be the same for her ever again.
Brian was lucky enough to find some friends on her way, who helped her to get on her feet, at least to the extent it was possible in her situation. Still, she didn't get very far from 'good lawful pre-war person' anachronism, and tries to do the good/right things even in the most fucked up sutiations until the reality hit her with several painful realisations about side effects and aftermaths and grey morals and other such things. Didn't stop her from following her moral compass, but with a taste of absurd and desperation, from this point. Uh, and then she got maybe too into this Silver Shroud cosplay.

Design notes
● Build notes: 180 cm | 5' 11'', lanky. Average build with slim leaning, somewhat rectangular build.
● Light yet warm skin tone
● Facial notes: Inverted triangle facial shape, straight and rather ‘sharp’ nose, thin lips shape, average eyebrows
● Scars: On her upper lip and right eyebrow + may have random ones on her body.
● Body markings: Lots of freckles!
● Hair: Used to have a bob cut before her pre-war world was destroyed. In the 1980s she may either have a bob cut or still have the right side of her head shaved.
● Clothing style: She really doesn't like wearing heavily armored stuff and tends to pick pre-war clothes. Prefers any combination of 70s/early 80s inspired clothing with post-apocalyptic beat-up coats and jackets. Wears gloves often + may be drawn with her wedding ring (wears it around the neck like a pendant).
● Her pip-boy is 100% fine to stylize and simplify however!
● Impression: Very nice and energetic but also somewhat awkward. She never knows what to do with her hands, and her very common mannerism is showing 'okay' and 'V' gestures
● Weapon notes: Random pistols or carbines, although she really doesn't like using them..
● Feel free to draw her with body hair and generally not-perfect skin if it fits your artstyle!
● There's no need to colorpick from her references, just try to keep the approximate colors/shades ratio recognizable and you cool.

I'm really *not* into pride flag-centric art. I don't mind respective pride flags being included as idk patches/pins on the clothes for 80s/modern versions of her, being overall small like colored heart or smth or being used as overall palettes for drawing if you feel like it, but pride avatars or the whole background being pride flag image is not really my cup of tea.
AUs — I'm 100% cool with references to these media, modern aus and surival stuff like zombie apocalypse aus maybe. Other aus/crossovers/etc are 'better ask first' (not if we're pals though, have fun however you want if we know each other <з)
Suggestive stuff is cool as a part of ship art with characters I pair her with [mentioned as her current/ex partners or just in ‘yeah you can ship them’ kind of context], as for bunny suits and stuff like that or 'sexual' posing
I'm only okay with shipping our OCs if we know each other and I'd still prefer to be asked about it beforehand, k?

Hatespeech/hateful topic are, probably, Very obvious thing, but. Still. And please please don't use slurs towards my ocs/in art for me in general, no matter how reclaimed they seem to be to you [i count words like slut/whore as well and I won't elaborate].
Please try your best to avoid major design mistakes and drawing ovviously out of character things — stylization is fine, though, I'm talking about drastic change of body type or skin tone, hair texture, erasing notable facial features and so on. Just read the design notes, I’ve mentioned all the important things to keep in mind there.
Overall, don't erase characters’ identity. Don't change gender, race (and species in general, unless I specifically asked for it) and sexuality of the character.
Fetish art, even if overall SFW.
Very cruel and graphical gore with character going through fatal injuries like losing body parts.

It's hard to put into words, how strongly Brian is attached to Piper. She finds her endlessly charming and funny and she's sincerely fascinated with her stubborn and fair character. Honestly, the duo of a lawyer and a journalist in a post-apocalyptic world where people don't generally care much about law and justice is Both a solid comedy and a match made in heaven.

A role model and confidante of sorts, with a heart of gold. Breanna basically adores Nick and he's, like, on of her most common companions to travel with. She loves to watch him working, and is especially happy to contribute in his detective investigations when he gives her a chance! They also kinda bond via having this being a living anachronism experience, although for very diffirent reasons, obviously.

I can't even explain what's exactly Brian's original deal with the Goodneighbourhood's troublesome mayor, but he IS her sertified emotional support best friend. She might not support his addictions, but except for that part she just loves having him around. He's funny and chill, and also chaotic in a cool way, Bri tends to sort of unleash her more dorky side when they hang out together. And also John is a great friend, really, and Bri endlessly respect the idea of creating the city for all kinds of people who are, well :) not welcome in the Diamond City for reasons she personally finds unfair and stupid.

To find a person who is sincerely nice is a rare thing this days, so of course the two of them, sharing similar ideals, got along very quickly. Garvey helped Brian a ton do adapt to the new world when she felt like the ground was slipping away from under her feet, and she was sure to return the favor later. They really inspire each other.
good boy
Breanna always dreamed of having a dog, but never has a chance to (somehow always had a family member who was allergic to dogs, her mom or her husband depending on the timeline). They found each other on very strange period of their lives, both grieving someone they loved, so their first meeting was bittersweet to say the least. But it was definitely for good. Bri is very attached to her four-legged best friend, and the feeling is obviously mutual.
nice gentleman / family
Her and her husband's Mister Handy (robotic butler) who she's gotten especially attached after the bombs falling. Codsworth make her very sentimental, like maybe her elder relaive of sorts. She tries her very best not to disappoint him, which is often manifested in attemts to play a role of person she is not.
'kid' / buddy
An odd ghoul young man, who she ran into while visiting Valentine. He's obviously looking for someone, but turned out quite secretive, despite his generally very outgoing and relaxed attitude. So although he didn't ask for any help, he didn't mind travelling together sometimes, covering each other's back and having some friendly chats about all kind of things. He was rather enthusiastic to help, when he had a chance, and was visibly happy when Bri's told him he is welcome at any of Minutemen-aligned settlements.
So, yeah, she considers the lad one of her friends. Although that's also glaringly obvious for Bri that Roach is a dark horse. I mean, he doesn't even tell people his name, to begin with. That's okay for people to have their secrets, of course, and god knows she tries not to be too nosy, but she just hopes he won't get into any serious trouble...

He's just like her fr! She loves watching a funny depressed man's show, and resonates with his story and personality strongly.

«When someone is so hateful it inspires you to be kinder // when someone is so kind it actually disgusts you» meme, literally. The two obviously care about each other but they also Do butt heads so much for the dumbest things (too altruistic vs. too pragmatic duo where both of them are too stubborn about sole correctness of their own phylosophy/life experience). Still, sometimes that very diffirent point of view on the situation actually happens to be quite helpful.
