Personality

Indy's constant state of being is tired. Her powers result in her being overstimulated, especially when it comes to light and sound. Because of this, she only works at night, and sleeps during the day. If she has to go out during the day, she will wear headphones and sunglasses to lessen the stimulation around her. She seems pretty cold and distant, and she is somewhat because she has a hard time with emotions, as she’s suppressed hers for so long. She has a good heart under it all, but her natural state is grumpy and tired. 

Backstory

Lived a pretty normal life (aside from her parents neglecting her and expecting to help her look after foster siblings when she needed some attention too) until she went to college and got bit by a spider. The effects of her powers made it pretty much impossible for her to finish her degree so she moved to New York where she studied Spider-Man in an attempt to figure out her own powers. In doing so, she ended up meeting him and he gave her a few pointers. After a few years, she kind of took over as her world's spider person, as her universe's Peter Parker was getting older and wanted to semi retire. He still helps her out on the streets, especially during the day, and she occasionally babysits for him too.

During an aftershock of the collider incident, Indy met two other spider heroes - James Armstrong (a cybernetic Spider-Man), and Spiderbites (a dilophosaurus with spider powers). They worked together to get back to their respective universes and Indy considers them friends (albeit, reluctantly). Indy also met Sydney when she was glitching in between universes, since the other spider was younger and struggling, she kept an eye out for her and unintentionally grew to consider her a friend. When she glitched away it hurt her a lot. 

After some time, Indy got into a fight and it resulted in her getting beating up quite a bit, including her ears being completely ruined. Being deaf for a while, she learned some ASL and kept trying to fight despite not really being up to it. Eventually Peter finds a way to jump to different dimensions and Indy reconnects with James, who's universe is more technologically advanced. She gets some implants and is able to return to hero work. 

Some time passes and Indy sacrifices herself to save the multiverse from a villain. She thought she would die but ended up getting stuck in a dark dimension for months, and all of that time zapped her powers. After a while, she was able to come back to her universe. It took a while for her to recover and get used to no longer having powers, and in this time she changed her hair style a little. She ended up relearning some fighting skills and becoming a part time consulting detective, working with her friend Lee on cases sometimes. 

Eventually she ends up dating and marrying Lee and accidentally gets attached to an orphan kid with spider powers, Nolan, and adopts him.
