Secena

Secena is a vampire who loves to take in orphans and strays.

Turned by a drifter bum named Atticus, Secena used to be the daughter of a wealthy noble in the city of Veloura, a well-to-do port city on the north western coast of the continent. Her father was a harsh man and treated her as one of his slaves, as her mother had been. She is used as an outlet for his anger and faces his emotional and psyichal abuse on a near daily basis. She had not been allowed a proper education and could not read or write, making it difficult for her to try and escape him.

- Secena catches a deadly illness that had spread through the city in an epidemic.

- Her father orders her to be thrown out, and she is left to die in the back alleys o. the city.

- Atticus stumbles upon her and decidely turns her, forcing her to drink his blood.

- In an incident connected to Secena, the upper tiers of Veloura are engulfed in an inferno, subsequently raizing a majority of the city.

- Atticus and Secena leaving on a boat heading towards a small villa island to the west. There Atticus teaches her to read and write, what it means to be a vampire and the history of the 4 continents. She becomes close with the island people and learns many things from them.

- After many years, Secena becomes restless. She wants to see the the world and the people in it. Though she begs him to travel with her Atticus declines, having tired of his old vagabond lifestyle.

- Secena makes an agreement with a captain and sails off with him as a new additionto his crew. Secena quickly grows strong bonds when then men aboard, and to this day she talks of them and how she cant wait to meet up with them again in the afterlife. They always called her Cen.

-During her travels with the crew she would often make stops at cities that caught her eye and they would agree to meet back up in a few months time. The crew got quite used to this and loved to tease her about being flakey.

-Secena lives long enough to see all the original crew pass on and become captain of the vessel herself. Soon after this she passed on her title and the ship to her first mate, and started her treck to see the 3rd continent (same continent as Veloura) on foot. During these years is when she started her habit of taken in abandoned and oprhaned youth. Though it was more short term than what she does at the Arbour house nowadays, since she is travelling. She would either let them come with her for until they could care for themselves or find them arrangments better suited.

-During her travels word comes to Secena that Veloura has/had been rebuilt by the people and is once more a flourishing port city. And then she heres of the old governor who has been stirring things up there recently. Her father. Who should be long dead after these hundreds of years had past.

-At current story time Secena has retired as a sailor ans returned to Veloura to investigate why her father is still alive.

-She buys a boarding home just outside of Veloura to live in, not wanting to make her presense known to her father she tries to keep from town as much as she can. Because Secena knows exactly what kind of person she is and she knows she will be basically hoarding orphaned and rejected kids like she did so many times while travelling the last few hundred years. She also hires a women named Katie to help her keep everything in order

- Brown/gold eyes during the day, red during the night or when drinking blood

-Secena has three dogs and two horses. One of her dogs is a threeheaded demon dog. They kind of act as service dogs? They help new kids feel more at ease in the house, and help kids such as Poppy who have issues connecting with others and Mako who is blind.

- After drinking someones blood she can mimic that persons appearence for a limited time. (Every vamp gets a power when they turn its part of their spoils in the contract thats formed when she willingly turns.)

- She uses the name of the boarding house as her last name.

- Secena was taught magic by the Meru living on the villa with Atticus. She specializes in glamour magics, and portal construction.
