Cassidy, called "Cas", is a poor citizen with a long history of struggle and trauma. She was, like many, a poor street urchin who made it through the hard knock life into adulthood. She works at a bar as a friendly bartender and entertainer with a tough but playful attitude. She has a special soft spot for children, and becomes incredibly close to little Seamus and eventually Jack. Her life took a turn for the worse, however, and because of abuse from a man she was left to flee for her life. She found a new job at the carnival and though it's not the ideal life, it seems it's all she could get. During her time here, she meets another man named Ren who is able to let her open up and find safety with. The two become a couple and while life is hard as ever, they have each other to rely on even at the terrible circus. Though she will never get over the guilt of leaving the two young boys behind. She hopes they're doing ok
