Personality

Yuji is a very very shy girl who gives a new definition to 'soft spoken.' All in all, she's a bookworm with an adventurers dream.  Essentially she seeks love, freedom and happiness, making her very gullible, emotion driven and careless when she need be cautious. But, when she has a goal, she fights for it with all she's got. Sadly, it's not in the muscles, but in the mind for little Yuji, as she may not be able to run her fist in your face when she's met a challenge, but her magic abilities are off the charts. This comes from the many many years of solitude from her loner personality when she was growing up. She's always spent her life nose plastered in books.

Yuji is basically: scared easy, skittish, nervous, anxious, always analyzing, always observing, but still extremely friendly. She enjoys a friendly face and friendly conversations, but the moment it's taken south, she can become very restless, very fast. That goes without saying, yelling at her or using even the lightest of insults can make her far more uncomfortable and upset than the norm.  Emotions hit her like a truck with a mind that can't let up on anything. It should be made very clear now that a lot of her motivation is based off old things from the past she's still never been able to let free.

History

As a child, Yuji was constantly picked on by her older sister, Eiko. Of course, aside from letting her sister have her way, she always looked up to Eiko for her strong personality and blooming leadership. It was Eiko that pushed her into learning magic and becoming more confident, even if it was with picking on her and forcing her into emotional corners, she would never express her childhood as something miserable, despite her, now, very sheltered aspect.

Her mother was always in favour of her and it really showed out when her parents divorced; Eiko leaving to live with their father. Her mother was kind and generous with a very high social status, so that placed  Yuji very close to the Royal Family, Ji, by association. She had come to know the Kings children, particularly falling head over heels for the middle son, Aiden. She constantly was at his side, watching and learning about him any chance she got. It was from that, she learned about being  selfish in the eyes of a selfless action. About the time she was 16, the Royal Family called upon members of poverty for young servants. If they weren't able to buy themselves freedom, they were to stay within the castle and work until they could. Eiko was one of the few that suffered that future until Yuji volunteered herself. It was both out of  her love for her sister, and love for Aiden that pushed her into doing  such a bold act, but it didn't go unnoticed.  Unknowing of Aiden being  part of the reason, Eiko had began to lighten up toward Yuji, as Aidens  younger brother, Kaden, had slowly began to show his jealousy for his brother and Yuji's relationship.

When Oden and his family were exposed with a bounty reward, Aidens desire for the throne had sparked his motivation to achieve them, that in which Yuji had begged to be apart of, expressing herself as useful due to her magical abilities. With being accepted into Aidens group, consisting of him, Yuji, and a fellow friend of Aidens, Zae, she set off in hopes to find and capture Oden so Aiden can be King and maybe her one-sided efforts be acknowledged.

It went by very slowly in the beginning of things, as Zae had started to show signs of enjoying Aidens company, which started a heavy pit of  jealousy and sorrow within Yuji, until Zae had went from friendly conversation to weird thirst for Aiden that lasted months, ultimately ending in Yuji breaking away from the two to be by herself because of the severe emotional pain she felt over her crush allowing another person in his space when she'd been held at arms length. For a while she sought out and traveled with Kaden, who happily enjoyed her presence until she'd begin talking about Aiden. Yuji was at a stand point she wouldn't be aware of her surroundings even if she tried because of how distraught she'd felt about her feelings being ignored, thus ignoring Kadens own feelings for her in the processes which made for the most awkward of situations between the two.

With Yuji falling into a depression, to further things, she'd found out  about Aiden and Zae having a child, which at first made her wish death would only come sooner, but upon meeting the child and reuniting with the two newly parents, she agreed with herself she'd do her best to ignore her feelings and move on. She broke away from Kaden and returned to Aidens side with that, and is back to wishing for Aidens throne, anticipating it as her last expression of her Love she could show him.
