Personality: Masuji is a very reserved and quiet student, slightly intimidating but has a naturally pretty complexion and is able to charm people easily. However the rest of his body takes away from that a little. He's very insecure about how his body looks, and due to this does take a lot of pride in keeping his hair and face looking handsome. He's rather emotionally distant and tends to accidentally offend people easily as he doesn't properly understand social cues. Smooth and gentle tone, he doesn't like to speak often. Rarely will he discuss his interests outside of school work. He's very obsessed with doing well, improving, winning and just being the best in general - not so much comparing himself to others but just inwardly he holds a lot against himself if he fails his own expectations (which he does, frequently because they are ridiculous)

Information:
- A physical mutation quirk
- His quirk appeared in birth, as he was born with 4 extra lungs, 6 in total. These extra organs grew in his arms and legs, creating a jet-like mass on the limbs. They're rather confronting and hard-to-look-at, a large mess of skin and holes that Masuji can use to push air out in blasts. These extra lungs are larger than normal lungs, protected by a few pieces of bone and thick skin.
Strengths:
- Close combat (able to blast air in the face of opponents in close quarters can create enough force to do serious damaged if placed correctly)

Weaknesses:
- The masses on his arms and legs are highly sensitive and if hit hard the cannon will feel like it has been 'winded' like regular lungs and need to recover from this before being able to work properly again.
- He cannot hit targets further than 30ft away, but can push them further than that.
- hand-to-hand combat, he cannot physically fight well because of his arms and legs. 

Backstory:
The Masuji family is rich, popular and almost famous for their stunning good looks and impressive quirks. Riku Masuji was meant to be the perfect child, taking the mixture of his mothers quirk (air manipulation) and his fathers quirk (air jet) and having the ability to fly and control wind/air perfectly. This was not the case, the two quirks manifested into a mutant quirk - causing the Father to almost immediately dislike and regret their child as Riku came out of the womb with strange masses on his arms and legs. He was named by his mother, who took pity on him - she named him Riku saying that he will endure torment and bullying for the rest of his life, but she believed he would make it through. The Father became more and more bitter towards Riku as the media found out about this 'abomination' of a child that 'couldn't possibly be the son of the two most stunning people in Japan', which led him to never want to be seen with Riku in public. The parents second child, Riku's sister, was the one who inherited the 'perfect' quirk and quickly became the fathers favourite - she was born 4 years after Riku. 

Because his father practically disowned him and refused to acknowledge him for most of his childhood, Masuji became obsessed with proving himself to be as good as his younger sibling. Studying and training on his own to be the best of the best, to prove himself useful and good enough to be considered part of the Masuji family. He is yet to receive a compliment from his father. His mother and sister are both supportive and loving, but as he's slowly retreated into his own mind and world he's lost touch with them. He still loves them both though, and wishes he could have a better relationship but just doesn't know how. He's unable to communicate his emotions well and doesn't fully have a grasp on social interaction as a whole. His biggest accomplishment, getting into UA, was met by a uninterested grunt from his father - the most he's ever received. 

He's at UA to prove himself, uninterested in making friends. He wants to be the best of the best, in his own minds eye. He's not interested in competing against the other students, just beating himself and his own standards that he's been setting to try and prove himself to his father - and to himself.
