Mikyu is a reserved Pokemon when it comes to interacting with others. The only other Pokemon he can stand and actually likes is Silhouette. They have been together for a very long time and are great friends. He is quite protective when it comes to her and will only show affection towards her. He doesn't speak "human" like some of his trainers other Pokemon, but it's not like he speaks much anyway.DESIGN

STORY

Mikyu has been with Silhouette for almost his entire life. He is a bit older than her, and sees her as a sister. He found her crying by a river when he went for a walk. It took a while for him to get her to trust him but eventually she followed him around and they became friends.

After a while, when he and his sister were sleeping in a cave, a trainer stumbled upon their "home". He had always stayed away from trainers, and almost never saw them. He knew she had the intent of catching him and his sister, but he wouldn't go down without a fight. The trainer won, but noticed how hard Mikyu fought. So she gave him the choice to pick whether he wanted to stay or not. He chose to stay, and she left.

Mikyu kept the battle a secret from Silhouette as to not scare her, and only told her a few days later. She was upset of course, so she ran off. He was worried and felt extremely guilty. He searched for her for hours and days. One day, he collapsed of exhaustion. The next, he woke up in a strange building. And right next to him was Silhouette, smiling of joy for seeing her brother awake. They were both happy of course! A strange woman with pink hair came in and right beside her was the trainer from before. She explained how she found Silhouette alone, and took her in; she's also the one who found Mikyu. Silhouette told him she wanted to be a part of the trainers team and, wanting to protect Silhouette, he joined her as well.
