After the death of his father, Jersey made the choice to step up as the man of the house. And the mom.
He tries his best to take care of his younger sister, cleaning, and cooking, on top of his school work. He doesn't have any real social life and keeps everything to himself until he literally can't anymore. He's socially awkward and a hopeless romantic, which combined can really reinforce that hard shell he's built up since losing his dad. He walks the line of caution more often than not, and due to anxiety about losing people, tends to try and control those around him.
