Scorchblaze

Scorchblaze is an ambitious, passionate, and hard-working individual. Ever since he was a kit he has dreamed of becoming the leader of his clan and has worked tirelessly in order to achieve that goal. Scorchblaze is highly energetic and has a need to be constantly busy. He finds it hard to sit still or relax for long periods of time, and will instead throw himself into any work or training available. As a result, both his hunting and fighting skills could be said to be above average, although he would not be classed as the best of his clan in either area. Scorchblaze is highly loyal to Pineclan and the warrior code. He will almost always put the needs of the clan above his own and follows the code to the letter. This devotion is not always for the best however as Scorchblaze’s idealistic view of both his clan and the code combined with his stubborn attitude and bold nature can lead to him coming off as harsh and judgemental, although this is an area that he is seeking to improve as his views slowly soften.

Family

Bearclaw (Brother) - Scorchblaze has a deep respect and appreciation for Bearclaw. While they had a decent relationship as kits/apprentices, as young warriors the two of them had a major falling out. Scorchblaze still a headstrong, cocky, and single minded individual at the time got Bearclaw's pregnant mate killed on one of his more daring patrols. Bearclaw was hurt that Scorchblaze never apologised for the incident and for the fact he seemed to look down on him for wanting a family over serving the clan. This eventually led to a huge argument in which Scorchblaze finally saw his brothers perspective, realised how horrible he was being, and finally apologised. Since then Scorchblaze has grown close to Bearclaw, and tries always to listen and understand his brother's views on things, having realised now narrow his perspective was and still can be. 

Fawnleap (Brother) - Scorchblaze cares for his brother although isn't always supportive of his life choices. In particular Scorchblaze does not approve of Fawnleap's relationship with a cat from another clan due to it violating the warrior code. Despite his thoughts however Scorchblaze tolerates and even helps cover up Fawnleap's relationship from the rest of the clan, understanding how devastating it would be to the tom to lose her. 

Frecklepelt (Mate) - Scorchblaze loves and has a deep respect for his mate. As a kit/apprentice Scorchblaze was initially quite critical of Frecklepelt believing she couldn't do anything right much like the rest of the clan. This continued as a young warrior up until the moment that Frecklepelt sacrificed herself to push Scorchblaze out of the way of a car costing her the use of one of her legs. This sacrifice changed Scorchblaze's whole perspective as he realised that she'd done so even though he'd treated her so poorly. From there Scorchblaze became one of her biggest defenders and as the moons went on found himself slowly falling in love. After finally becoming deputy, Scorchblaze admitted his feelings and the pair became mates. Scorchblaze is very protective of Frecklepelt, and loves her dearly (Although he can sometimes come off as caring more about being deputy/the clan in general than her).

Gorsekit, Pricklekit, Ripplekit, Kestrelkit (Kits) - Scorchblaze is only a newly made dad but already adores his kits and is immensely proud of even their smallest milestones.

Others

Puddlestar (leader) - Scorchblaze has a complicated relationship with Puddlestar. While he very much looks up to the she-cat as a role model and attempts to understand and analyse her decisions in order to be a better leader himself, he is also quite critical of some of her past actions. Primarily the ones related to retaking Pineclan from her brother and her subsequent vilification of him and his supporters.
