Personality: Intelligent, reliable, humble, occasionally distracted (doodles on her arm whenever bored, as pictured above), and rarely known to back down/surrender from a fight (whether it be with something as simple as a minor spell or as major as an Equestria-wide crisis).

Fatal Flaws: Strict, picky, stubborn, slightly temperamental (small noises, phrases, and unfortunate situations can easily spiral her into an unpleasant mood), and her friends have taken note that once she’s on a tangent about something/somepony, she may not stop talking for up to hours at a time.

Special Talent: Potion Brewing

Cutie Mark Story: Raspberry would often help out Zecora in her hut after Applebloom grew too busy on the farm to continue her weekly visits. She would fill orders, clean up scraps, and other simple given jobs. As a young filly, the cautious zebra feared her getting into trouble with the potions, and Raspberry was told never to go near her special supply of magical concoctions. Gradually, the unicorn grew more and more eager to learn about how such tiny bottles could contain the most mysterious of spells, and whenever Zecora’s back was turned, she’d sometimes venture just a bit too close to the colorful vials for her mentor’s liking.

While out retrieving a basket of Poison Joke in the surrounding bog of the Everfree Forest, Zecora left Raspberry in charge of the shop while she was away. Obviously, the sly unicorn had other plans. She decided to follow a simple flower-blooming spell she’d watched the older zebra use some time ago, and before she knew it a sparkly new Cutie Mark had appeared on her flank, along with a tiny golden and purple flower slowly sprouting from the pot.

At first she believed her talent to have something to do with gardening, for her close friend Honeycomb had recently received his Mark in a similar field only weeks prior. That is, until her shocked mentor explained to her her true passion, and how she’d had a sneaking suspicion potion-making had been the young filly’s destiny all along.

After Zecora retired with her wife - former Commander of the Wonderbolts Spitfire Blaze - the greatly matured Raspberry Sparkle chose to set up camp in her rustic hut. Though decently introverted (as noticeable by the isolation between her home and the rest of Equestria) her friends and family often visit and bring with them exclusive supplies for her to use in her next concoction. For example, Honeycomb and his garden of exotic flowers, or Marmalade and her knowledge of jam-making and ingredient mixing.

*After former Captain Shining Armor passed away in battle, the position was handed over to Tempest, his second in command. During the Second-Coming Changeling War, she was slain by none other than Queen Chrysalis herself who, in this universe, was not a part of “Grogar’s” joined villain plan. She’d disguised herself as Tempest’s wife, Twilight, pleading for her to come home and see her newborn filly again. At her weakest, most vulnerable point, the exhausted Captain was killed just as she foolishly embraced her so-called “spouse.” 

Her role was handed over to Royal Guardsman Flash Sentry (along with his husband, Duke Vladimir Blueblood) upon Twilight’s request, and the two now currently reside permanently in Canterlot Castle, where they now raise a young, adopted filly named (Duchess) Watermelon Sprout.
