Personality: Outgoing, hyperactive, silly, innocent (Taffy doesn’t know how bad the world around him can get, and, frankly, he doesn’t want to), and friendly (he’s instantly likable, and practically everypony who meets him wants him by their side supporting them when times get tough).

Fatal Flaws: Overly energetic (to a fault), easily distracted, naive, messy (he’s been known to leave behind a whirlwind of chaos in his wake, much to the dismay of any unlucky souls forced to clean up after him), and he outright refuses to abandon anypony he meets, no matter how hopeless or abusive they may seem.

Special Talent: (Competitive) Swimming

Cutie Mark Story: At the prime age of 10 years old, Pinkie Pie finally told Saltwater Taffy of his unfortunate Seapony past. She explained how the Hippogriffs had been in hiding for years during the Storm King’s reign, and how, even after obtaining freedom, they still chose to keep the special crystals used to transform themselves into “fish-folk.”

Taffy was discouraged that he could never have the power to do what his ancestors were practically known for, and spent hours upon hours each day practicing in the small pond behind Sweet Apple Acres, hoping that eventually he could learn to swim just as good as any Seapony. 

Eventually, he made the Ponyville Junior Swim Team, and competed in a wide variety of races and obstacle courses along with his Equestrian teammates. After never winning a single round, the group felt all their hopes sinking to the bottom of the pool... Coral volunteered to represent Ponyville in the tie-breaking competition - The relay race. 

It was the final length of the race, and Ponyville was currently in second place. The horseshoe was passed off to CB, and he bolted down the length of the pool faster than anypony else, leaving his competition in the dust (er, water). As he crossed that finish line, his teammates chanted his name loudly for all to hear, though he hardly even noticed over the sight of his Cutie Mark slowly shimmering to life...

*Pinkie and Skystar were forced to keep their relationship a secret from a disapproving Queen Novo, who’d been planning an arranged marriage between her daughter and a wealthy Hippogryph gentleman for months now. When she eventually found out of their cursed marriage, Novo forbade Skystar from ever seeing her pregnant spouse again, and quickly married her off to the Noble to prevent further objection.

Skystar currently resides in Seaquestria along with her husband, Captain Coral Breeze, and daughter, Princess Oasis Blossom.
