  • PERSONALITY

On a planet where Gods and Goddesses are showered with nothing but affection and adulation, there is one goddess who denies all of that. She strives for something better, something greater. Her name is Justice, one part powerful, strikingly beautiful kitsune, second part fair and honest Goddess looking to rid the planet of the villainous scum that plague its nations. Admired not only by her own followers, she is kind, hardworking and never judges a book by its cover. On the outside, it would almost seem like the rift created one perfect being right. In reality, however, there lies another side, often kept buried beneath her wonderful traits. She is actually a bit of a naive, competitive brat that gets very petty when things do not go her way. This is a side of her that only really comes out when another Goddess by the name of Strife challenges her to something.

In order to do this, she currently aspires to gain a greater following and become more well known throughout the planet, Arcturus, and maybe even the universe. She also wants to further spread justice and order, as that is what she represents. Aside from this, she also wishes to see Destini again, since the two were best friends for the longest time.

  • Species

[ Deity ] The universe revolves around Deities. They are powerful entities, capable of creating planets, land and sea, as well as other lifeforms entirely. Through tales of old, ancient stories engraved through time, these gods and goddesses give and take from the worlds they oversee. Some bring about darkness and disease, while others bring light and hope to the people who read their scriptures. Deities exist on almost every planet, some created by the citizens of their world, fake gods and goddesses that serve a purpose to scare, enlighten or give hope to the people. There are, however, true divine beings hidden among them, scattered throughout the galaxy. Most originate from a planet called Arcturus, born from a mysterious rift in the crimson sky above. From here, they are assigned to different worlds or given a place among the Arcturus ranks.

    Subspecies

[ The Divine ] The Divine is a rank given to those who have worked their way to the top. While not quite a titan, this title is considered a great honor and those with it tend to be well respected by most Deities. They also have the largest following and hold unimaginable power within, but due to this, some may look down on those of lower rank, thinking lowly of them and even belittling them. This is also to do with the fact that they are highly competitive beings and do not like others who can match them in power and rank. This can even lead to some pretty devastating fights, which someone of similar strength often has to break up before some everlasting damage is caused.

    Species

[ Kitsune ] A Kitsune is a rare fox that can take the form of a human, but only after they have reached one hundred years of age. They also cannot turn fully human, keeping their tails, and sometimes, even their fox ears. Their difficulty in hiding their fox like features are how they are easily distinguished. Every one hundred years, they gain more wisdom and power, along with a new tail. They can only have nine tails, and the only way to kill a Kitsune is to cut off their main one which is their source of power. Kitsune cannot die of old age. They can die if their main tail is cut off, or are hit by a rare illness that some get years after they gain their last tail. The Kitsune species love to play tricks on others. They like to take things, hide things, or use illusions to confuse their targets, but while they love a good prank, there is one other thing they are known for. The Kitsune are faithful. They always keep their promises and strive to repay any favour. One of the most important things to a Kitsune is their freedom. They do not like being locked away for forced to do something they don’t want to do. If anyone gets on their bad side, there will be terrible consequences. They also have a very strong hatred towards dogs and are often uneasy around them. The ability known as Fox-Fire, is a gift all Kitsune possess. It is an energy generated by their tails and is very powerful. There are also many different types of Kitsune, but the element they are all depends on what their parents were/are, and where and when their child was born.

    Subspecies

[ Tengoku/Celestial Kitsune ] A Celestial Kitsune is a Kitsune that has gained its ninth tail. When this happens, their fur and tails turn white, sometimes even their hair. Unlike their dark counterpart, they tend to be more easy going and just out for a bit of fun. They can also create illusions so elaborate they are almost indistinguishable from reality. While some Kitsune have a flame-like Fire-Fox ability, the Celestial Kitsune have a white lightning one, which can be devastating when they get infuriated.

    Abilities/Skills

As a Goddess in The Divine Rank, this Deity is extremely well respected, and with her respect comes power. Justice is fully in control of her celestial magic, a magic nearly all Deities possess. This particular Goddess is half Kitsune, giving her the abilities and skills of one on top of her Deity powers. She is able to change into a nine tailed fox, meaning she is one of the rarest, a Celestial Kitsune. She is given unique abilities because of this, one for each of their tails. Her first tail is the one linked to the soul of a Kitsune. It gives her the ability of Fox-Fire, which is like a blast of electricity that generates from her tails and surrounds her. From her second tail, she is given speed, her body made to be agile and quick. She also heals fast, but not as fast as a Werewolf. From her third, she is given the shapeshifter ability. All Kitsune gain this power after their third tail, but once they get their ninth, it is stronger, making them able to even change their age. From her fourth, she can possess others, taking over their mind and body to do as they wish. From her fifth, she can create illusions so powerful they are indistinguishable from reality, and from her sixth, she is given power over matter, to move things no matter how far they are, just as long as she can see it. From her seventh, her eyes gained the strength to look into the souls of others. She can see their sins, what makes them who they are. From her eighth, she is given the power of knowledge. She can see into the multiverse and, with limitations, can find out almost anything she wishes. From her ninth, she is given the power to control and manipulate space and time. The multiverse and all other worlds are in her hands. As the Goddess of Atonement, Justice is responsible for bringing about order among the people of the universe. With her creation, came about many different justice systems.

  • History

Long ago, there was nothing, no stars or planets, just an infinite expanse of darkness. There were no forms of life, just nothingness and something later described as Celestial Energy. Celestial Energy is not a physical thing nor being, but rather, a mysterious divine power that seemingly came from nowhere. History tells of a story, when this strange energy collided with itself, creating an explosion that engulfed the whole expanse of space in a brilliant white. When it eventually subsided and died down, it left behind a rift, a glowing ball of distorted matter. This odd occurrence contained unique powers and alone, it managed to create a planet, a star and its moons. This one planet left alone in a sea of darkness, was Arcturus. The Rift that hovered in the sky above the planet then created a divine being with great powers. This was the very first goddess, Divinity. She was the one who single handedly built the universe out of nothing, yet when she almost reached the limits of what she could do, The Rift created a few more goddesses to help her finish what she started. Together, they created planets, creatures to live on them, and made a whole universe filled with untold wonders. All the while, The Rift created more gods and goddesses to help them when they needed it most. Divinity then assigned herself the job to watch over these Deities, essentially being a parent to them, guiding them towards their destinies. After Justice was born, this Goddess was given a role to play. She now works in the courthouse, bringing justice down upon others. Sometimes, she also calls upon other Deities if she needs them. She is essentially the boss to Exile, Mercei and Verdict, so has authority over them.

    Birthplace

As with most deities, this goddess was born from The Rift, a strange phenomenon that resides in the sky above Arcturus. It is believed that an entity lives within this rift, creating deities to fit individual needs and purposes, which is how the planet became its thriving self. After her creation, she was then allocated a role to play by Divinity herself, a role that perfectly suits her unique traits and abilities.

    Current Residence

As the Goddess of Atonement, this deity lives in the Court of Justice. This place is a grand courthouse, where those taken to trial here are the worst of the worst. This place is owned by Justice and is where she works to put away those who committed heinous crimes. Often, she does this alone, but when things get tough, she calls upon others, Mercei, Verdict and Exile. Despite their constant feuds and arguments, their behaviour when it comes down to their job, is vastly different to what goes on outside the courthouse. Mercei, the Goddess of Punishment, is best at interrogation and getting people to talk, while Exile, the God of Banishment, is in charge of deciding their fate. Verdict, the God of Conviction, is the one who puts the facts together and presents them to the others. Justice, however, is the one who makes the final call, the one who has control over the others, as a goddess of more power and rank.
