HISTORY

Born to the family Evans of House Orien, Victoria is the first daughter of Harrison and Amelie Evans, and the older sister to Evelynn 'Evie' Evans. Their family comes from a long line of dragonmarked engineers, inventors, explorers, and other ambitious fellows, all following the line of Geoffrey Evans of the original Trailblazers. Although he had chosen against adopting 'Orien' as their family name, it is well known that the Evans family is as integral to the line as any of the Orien families.

Growing up, Victoria had always been terribly ambitious. Given the status of her family, there was never a moment where Victoria felt ill-suited for her passions, or shy to even work towards them. She was very confident in herself and her abilities, even as a child, and would put her whole heart into everything she did. Hard-working and earnest, it was no surprise that Victoria made for a very well-educated young lady, moving on to even attending the University of Morgrave. It was there that she majored in Political Science and minored in Engineering. Although she was passionate about both fields of study, it was clear that her heart was more taken by the ins and outs of engineering, allowing her to learn and master the tools she'd need to contribute to her House's lightning rail business, and hopefully to the teleportation ventures as well.

However, even with her great interest in learning and experimenting, it was in her hobbies outside of academia that Victoria was able to develop her mastery with tinkering and inventing. From a young age and well into her current adulthood, Victoria was intrigued by all forms of weaponry and all the different ways one could enhance them. Particularly, she was - and still very much is - a fan of firearms. Her own father was among those who liked to personally upgrade his tools, not that he was much of a fighter but because he enjoyed figuring out how his guns operated and how to make them better, if not the best. Under his wing, Victoria learned all the ins and outs of his personal collection, and when she turned 18 he had gifted her a pistol he had made himself. The inspiration she derived from her father's zealous endeavours had her creating many of her own personal inventions, some of the firearm variety and some that were meant more as toys and trinkets, which often became small gifts for her loved ones.

Towards the end of the The Last War, Victoria had become quite the investigative and negotiative representative of House Orien and the Family Evans. Several criminal cases that concerned the family business had been cracked with her assitance on various teams. She had made a name for herself as a quick and sharp shot, and with such a reputation under her belt, she had even begun to talk of her latest goal: to become a leader of the House Orien. Though she knows that such a dream is still far off, and that she needs to continue learning and honing both her abilities and intelligence, Victoria is certain that down the line, she will be successful. Until then, she will continue to represent the House and act as necessary for both her own and the House's interests.
