Eclipse is a mysterious cat-like space creature that was rescued from a research facility by the Aquila crew. No one really knows what she is exactly nor what she wants. Though she now lives on Altair's ship, she usually avoids the crew and keeps to herself. Unfortunately for her, she can't stay hidden for long and is usually discovered by either Gamma or Nova who wish to play with her.
In the past, Eclipse was often seen sitting on Apollo's shoulder. It's believed that she was the source of his power, though there's no confirmation of this.
"Eclipse is the coolest cat! She can talk and go through walls like a ghost. She likes to hide from me so it's hard to find her sometimes. But when I do find her, I cuddle her and carry her around the ship. I don't want her to feel left out so I give her extra attention."
"Eclipse is my best friend. I've known her since I was a child, back when I thought she was just some weird-looking cat. It's thanks to her that I obtained my powers and she's the primary reason I survived as long as I did. Through the good and the bad, she was always by my side (or sitting on my shoulder rather). We were unstoppable! Together, we conquered planets and struck fear in the hearts of many! We even took down a goddess together! Ahh those were the days."
