Beverly
About
Beverly is a quietly brooding woman. She is the tallest and broadest of her family and an intimidating frame. She is strong in a way that doesn't really show until she's picking up something very heavy.
Beverly spends most of her time in the back of the family flower shop or in one of the private greenhouses that the family owns. She doesn't leave home very often and is often lurking in the shadows to hide most of her disfigurement. Beverly is covered in burn scars on her right side. The burns limit her mobility and she has to walk with a heavy cane due to it.
Beverly isolates herself from most of the world other than her family. When she first came home, she tried to live life as normal but people would tell her that she was scaring them or scaring children and that she shouldn't be out in public looking the way she does. This drove her to isolate herself from the public, only leaving the house at night in most cases.
Beverly is severely lonely. She loves her family but before the fire, she had a lot of friends, none of which kept in contact with her after she got out of the hospital. Between her

Background
Beverly lived a pretty happy life up until she was twenty-seven. She had a loud family home, loads of friends, and was going to school to be a botanist after getting her GED, having dropped out of school to help her parents with the other 11 kids. She was looking at a bright and happy future.
And then...
The fire happened.
Beverly doesn't remember the fire. She doesn't remember even days leading up to the fire. All she remembers is having a happy life and then waking up in the hospital months later. Her family was crowded in the waiting room, Allister was sat next to her bed, half dozed in his seat, a medical book in his lap.
At first it was just disorientating. And then she felt all the pain. She wasn't awake long before the doctors put her back under. The next few months were the same. Sometimes she would wake, her body would realize how much pain she was in, and then she was knocked back out. She was in the hospital for nearly eight months.
When she was finally able to go home, the family business and home had been rebuilt but nothing was the same. At first her friends would stop by to check on her, but it was clear they were uncomfortable being in the same room as her or seeing her condition. Sixteen months after the fire and Beverly was isolated in the family home having been told that she was scaring the peopl around her. Now she only really sees family.

Allister "Alli" Elder Brother
Allister is the only sibling older than Beverly and only by about a year. The two were very close growing up but when Beverly quit school to help at home, Allister was very angry with her. The two argued a lot and still have a very strained relationship.
Connelly "Nelly" Brother
Beverly thinks that it's cool that Nelly followed his dreams. She was so impressed with him when he started working at 16 to help out the family, though she doesn't get the appeal of modeling. She loves listening to him gush about his significant others, though she has never met them.
Deirdre Sister
Beverly leans heavily on Deirdre sometimes. Deirdre is working to help her sister unbundle her guilt over their parent's death. Beverly appreciates Deirdre a lot and will do anything Deirdre needs her to do short of leaving the house.
Gael Brother
Beverly thinks that Gael's want to become a pediatric doctor is fairly great. She doesn't like how smug Allister is about him following in his footsteps but she tries not to take that out on Gael. She is happy for him, though.
Hunter Brother
Hunter is one of the only people in the world that can get Beverly to laugh. His energy and happiness is a bit infectious and he makes her feel better.
Jarvis "Vi" Brother
Beverly is a bit concerned about Vi's choices. She is constantly making sure he's okay and has actually signed him up for more than one or two subscription services for protection.
Kinsley Sister
Beverly sees a lot of herself in Kinsley and she's a bit worried about it. Kinsley is angry and destructive and Beverly wishes that she could get over her anger. Though, she understands completely where it comes from.
