Tends to see what ever he’s started all the way to the end and never quite seems to know when to stop until it’s too late.
His new found abilities have made him a tad too more reckless too, throwing himself willingly even in front of a bullet if necessary.

HISTORY WIP

While trying to research into an internal corruption case, Jake gets reassigned into small rural seaside town against their will and most likely as a cover up so that the truth wouldn't be found out. The town itself turns out to be filled with unnatural phenomena and strange things, that Jake doesn't want to believe at first but against his better judgement decides to try and find out what's going on. 

He soon realizes that something is not quite right at all: people going missing, strange creatures and figures lurking in the dark of the night..  Eventually his leads get him into a mess that was way too much for him to handle, While investigating on some leads he ends up disrupting a spellhound ritual and gets ambushed and kidnapped as a sacrifice to the very ritual and turns into a spellhound. Freaked out by the situation Jake goes hysteric and escapes the site and the remains of the incident, and ends up wandering in the woods for almost two days until he passes out and ends up being discovered by [???] who tries to teach them the secrets of the village. 

Now conflicted and confused with his situation he’s contemplating leaving the task force and starting an investigation of his own as the non-human folk of the town turn to him as their protector and negotiator between the supernatural folk and humans.

EXTRAS

• After turning into a spellhound he’s been struggling to keep his new powers hidden, but he’s also found out that it can be both a gift and a curse as he strikes to use his new powers for good, like searching for missing people, for example
  
  
• He used to be rally skeptical and a no-nonsense kind of a guy, but recent events have sure shown him that there are more things in the world that he previously knew
  
  
• Has been spellhound for a mere two and half years so he's still kind of figuring things out, some people at the village know about this and some don't
  
  
• Chews on pens, don't borrow him any
  
  
• Shaves regularly, doesn't think beard would suit him
  
  
• Decent cook, though he's often so busy that he ends up ordering takeout more than he probably should
