Verida

verida is the ruling matriarch of [name pending ice society], although her work is mostly as a figure head (her gems elect a parliment who do most of the actual laws and things). she's one of the only members of the mom squad to have a somewhat active role in the government of her gems society. the other members of the mom squad jokingly call her the ice queen because a) she's the queen of an ice society and b) she's very stoic and doesn't do feelings terribly well. verida is also particularly anal about language and prefers the use of the old fashioned singluar pronoun "vie" over the modern "she" but deals with it. she's just super old fashioned in general tbh. her gem is on the small of her back and she usually keeps it covered with a giant coat
