A tanuki who stays around a shrine!

The shrine maidens couldn't really try or want to get rid of this little guy since he seems genuinely innocent (which he is). So, they let him stay :D Oh yeah, the shrine maidens were the one who named him Katsu.

He likes to give omamori charms to anyone who visits the shrine.

He is naturally shy.. and a crybaby. He doesn't really trust anyone, but he wants to !! Just give him some time and he will be an absolute sweetheart to you!

The visitors likes to give him food and he very much appreciates that <3

I probably won't redesign him, 'cause I like the simplicity of this one! I will likely give him a shrine outfit though :D
