Summary: Brother to Sioh. He grew up with his older sister and their parents in a bustling city. One day, his dad took him and his sister on an exploration trip as they commonly did every few years. They went deep into the mountains and found an interesting series of caves that seemed to be lived in. That's when they met the resident Douhmel vampires- who proceeded to slaughter their dad and kidnap the siblings. They were part of a batch of Blood Eaters made near the end of the experimentation phase, and therefore they were almost perfect versions of their goal. And the biggest side effect of the procedure made them almost trance-like and stripped of will and personality, much to the joy of the Douhmel. They were then kept as cattle and servants, as Blood Eaters were supposed to. They were treated fairly well, but as well as a sheep would be for wool. They were kept in a colony of others like them and lived on without will for an undeterminable amount of time.

Eventually, his sister revealed her regained consciousness and executed their escape. But while trying to bring Oistean along, the other Blood Eaters got in her way and the Douhmel captured her. As a form of punishment, she was ruthlessly beat up by the other Blood Eaters in a way only an immortal could be. Oistean was unable to think and reason, but was left there watching this event in pain. She managed to escape the punishment, and escaped without her brother to save her free will- planning to bide her time and come back for him when she knew she could save him.

He continued his existence, though showed signs of loneliness despite his apparent lack of consciousness. Slowly but surely, his mind came back to him and he experienced a torturous and lonely existence without the ability to control his own body. His physical feeling came back to him just as slowly, but he forced himself to act the same as always to remain under the radar. He thought of ways to escape and find his sister, but the security was far stronger and he still had a hard time maintaining stream of thought for long periods of time. So for years he was subject to abuse and deindividuality without any escape or companionship. After what felt like forever, Sioh broke back in and brought her brother with her. He finally was able to reach out his own hand to take hers. By this point, he had regained most of his consciousness, but he was still devoid of strong emotion and acted on pure instinct. The only thing he knew was that he didn't want to be apart from his sister ever again, and his only true feeling of warmth was in the times they sat side by side looking at a fire or the sky together, just like old times. Together, they lived on in the wilderness like the sister had been doing after her escape, and she taught him how to survive and fight- to build on what their father had taught them, but with the physical changes that came with being a Blood Eater. They both regained some humanity during their time of freedom, Sioh becoming a little more optimistic and looking for the small things to enjoy in life. Regardless, she was highly cautious and strong-willed. Oistean remained apathetic and wasn't keen to do anything unless he was told to. He could feel tinges of empathy again, but mainly he still felt hollow. They now travel across countries as vampire hunters, unable to quell their hatred for the beings that killed their father and turned them into immortal slaves. After finding out their mother was long gone, they also began to search for a new kind of life past killing vampires- and found another Blood Eater family member along the way.
